I'm sorry, Santo Domingo is the Capital of the Dominican republic which is not the same country as Haiti. Haiti is on the left side of the Island and is the location of this footage. Don't confuse or combine the two.
You sound very silly... there is, but one country (Hispaniola) and it's seperated by imaginary lines, we humans place... Haiti, may not be as beautiful as DR, but it is nice!
While we humans do place arbitrary lines to establish sovereignty, I doubt seriously that anyone there would call Hispaniola "one country". Haiti and the DR have had a long and sordid history, which has left the island deeply divided across racial, economic, religious, and (yes) territorial lines.
