Where do you live because if that's how police officers act then I don't wanna live there. Where I work, we take domestic violence VERY serious. We don't blow off anyone. We don't care if there are physical evidence or not, we take it very serious. And the only women that die in violent relationships are the main ones that we don't hear from. Usually the ones who end up living to tell the story are the ones who call us and desire a change.Like I said, we take DV very serious.

I live in London, England. We now take Domestic Violence seriously here, but it hasn't always been so. I do know, however, that in the United States, DV ignored by several police departments. I know because I've read it in papers and seen it in documentaries. Even Tracy Chapman sang it in one of her songs (I think it's called Last Night, but I can't remember). But it's good to know that things are changing.
