Why is there always some American, Canadian or Aussie saying "yeah, you know the Welsh and the English (they usually betray their total ignorance by saying "British") or the Scots and the English/British hate each other, or some such shit. All the people of the UK get along fine - we all just love taking the piss out of each other is all.

However, be blatantly rascist regarding the welsh and it's suddenly a joke, that some bigots of the other home nations clearly find funny. If that 'had' have been about pakistanis it would clealry be rascist and would be deemed unacceptable. The guys a clown, I've seen him slag the welsh before.

I don't know anything about Simon Evans, he may indeed be a complete twat, but my take on seeing this was similar to seeing Alan Partridge and The Pub Landlord who I took to be satirists (albeit after a short period of concern). I'll watch out for more of his stuff and let you know!

The joke regarding the hospital wasn't even unexpected and infact, i genuinely heard a slight variation of that in the pub years ago. It was racist then and its racist now....it was mildly more tolerable when told by an ignorant old man in a pub than an ignorant old man on stage.
Most of the time I'm at home watching comedy I have my inward chuckle. Rarely laugh out loud as hard as I did watching Simon on the telly. Thanks for letting me relive the brilliance.
