Actually this comick book has some things that are true but also some that are not.

ex.

The actual number that confronted the persians was 7.000 greeks. the 300 along with some other (kinda like 1000 other greeks) where just the last day where they killed 11.500 persians. Xerxes waited 4 days till his attack cause he thought that 7.000 wont stay to fight. he thought it was a joke. and many more examples i can find.

All of them fought to the last.

Sparta lose 300 of its best men, yet not the war for the war was not only about Sparta but about many Greek cities against the Persians.

The following year - as shown in the movie - at Plataies the Greek Army in unison fought against and destroyed the Persian army.

Persians were not monsters. However it was the most powerful and dominating nation of era.

At the battle of Plataies he was in the front line. He broke the ranks (phalanx) and died almost as soon as the battle begun. Also, Zack Snyder wasn't a first time director (he directed at least two big studio movies previously) so she got her facts wrong, too.
