  • tslayer you know the big bang was supposed the next wcw ppv after greed before wwe bought the promotion dont you?. just wondered if you knew this.

  • I agree with most of what your saying...but TNA Impact.....RVD and Jeff Hardy shouldve switched places...Bar none......Jeff Hardy gettin beat down by Sting I can swallow.....but RVD...no. Screwed a very welcome return.

RVD v AJ Styles at Lockdown....that be jaw dropping. Tho i can admit RVD might need to knock off some rust...but it sounds more major than J. Hardy V AJ Styles.

  • i can understand people saying that RVD's debut wasnt good. But got buried? It's called a "feud with Sting". They were were talking about reading the spoilers. Well, read them again alvarez. RVD got his revenge. But you people will RELIGIOUSLY find a way to shit on that ANYWAY.

  • Out of curiousity I listened to Alvarez for the first time today, and it sounds like alot of these shooters on youtube are just rehashing what he says.

Not mention they always feel the need to reference him to validate their points. Pretty sad IMO.

  • Um that is funny as I know for a FACT that almost no one listens to him on YouTube at least that I know of. Unless they are talking about the Death of WCW? Hmm I think most people reference Dave more but I could be wrong also if you are reference Alavrez you are basically referencing Dave as that is where he gets most of his info. Also most people put up vids on stuff before either of them talks about it when you are talking about PPVs and such.

  • @TSlay1974 Does Dave still write for the Baltimore sun? I know The Slammer still writes for the NY post but it isn't really a long article.

  • He writes for Yahoosports now doing MMA.

  • Well I just left 2 Q's that hopefully their U or DDW will reply anyway either of you want, now its time 2 gripe just on 2 things: 1# Super Parka is the original La Parka ???, I get that L.A. Park & Super are uncle & nephew but on almost every interview I've heard is that since the foundation of AAA 'til 96, L.A. Park was the original, its just curiosity.....

  • 2# Blue Demon Jr. = Blah ???, come on T-slay !!!, I get that probably if wren't 4 his cash he'd never be NWA world champ, but the Fact is: 4 starters I'm even suprised the NWA is still in busniess before Demon became a financial partner & trust If Blue Demon did a house show tour on Bordertowns, He alone would draw 7,000 people at a minimum, besides why do ya think when a Lucha show came 2 Texas outdrew TNA Victory Road like U said on a previous video, he has a Legendary Legacy 2 carry.....

  • finally 2 add the final point: why do ya think Mexico is gonna play a friendly soccer game before the world cup vs Iceland, In Charlotte !!!!!, Nature Boy country ?, makes ya think.....

  • Dude can draw no QUESTION I have seen it so you are right there. I just ment as far as wanting to see him wrestle not so much.

  • He got revenge but HOGAN vs STING was what was featured. By the spoilers RVD was on TV maybe 5min GREAT use of a guy that could actualy DRAW.

  • i would like to now why tna still has ruso

  • That was the best Bryan alverez rant ever he defo deserves his gold boat

  • TNA has gotten much worse since Hogan and Bischoff joined. Vince Russo needs to get fired. Instead of putting on an outstanding show on Monday night they put out shit. The TNA roster is so talented but they don't have a clue on how to use them..at all.

  • @killroy687 So what do you think they should do to improve the show to your liking. Saying "Fire Russo" is such a cop out, How would you push the talent so that everyone will be happy? Do a vid if you need to lol.

  • Impact could have a show 10x better than Nitro in 97 and Raw in 98-99 combined and most of the retards in the IWC would still watch Raw.

Both shows sucked on monday but Raw was not 4 million viewers better.

Where is edgehead on this video? He is the only stupid fuck who liked the new ECW.

    BTW good video again Josh.

  • Comment removed

  • thats what i hear poeple saying aj to remain champ, wolfe to be global champ and beer money to be tag team champs

  • Thanks for the segment by segment breakdowns in the sidebar for last Mondays show. An interesting read.

  • TNA sucks at promoting pay per views

  • It depends on whats happening but I usually watch RAW live and dvr TNA. God Bless the Dvr

  • hogan made a fool out of him self " He has no busness being in any kind of match ever agin" hogan vs sting would be a train reck

  • Nice spelling of train wreck there chief.

  • "abizmal failure?" I enjoyed iMpact on Monday. Great show.

  • @Adwap

Yeah so great when they ruined RVD's debut by doing a long drawn out NWO style beatdown on him

  • I'm so sick of hearing about that. RVD pinned STING in like 9 seconds, CLEAN! It took a maniacal Sting with a baseball attack from behind to put RVD away. RVD looks strong still, and Sting gets huge heat. Give it some damn time! Lol

  • Yeah, Sting actually NO SELLING the loss got RVD over

  • Why would he sell it? He didn't lose by the 5 star frog splash, it was the fucking rolling thunder rofl.

He caught him by surprise. Granted it did go a little too long but that beatdown was needed to get sting over as a heel.

  • Tommy Young is also going to be at The Big Bang!

  • Hope to see you at the ROH show in phoenix

  • it seems like everybody likes ROH because there the up and coming company

  • They are fun to watch, not as good as the old ecw but I get that vibe from them.

  • TSlay do you know why ROH didn't do the PPV as one of the 2 shows for WrestleMania weekend?

Do you know if the AAA/TNA deal effects the AAA/ROH deal?

Next week's iMPACT! will be the more interesting show because if the ratings aren't any better they have bigger problems because starting next week iMPACT! won't be running the re-runs on Thursday anymore.

  • @EXXXTACY69

ROH should make a deal with CMLL. CMLL is more serious anyway, and CMLL has Mistico, so that would be a win-win situation for ROH

  • I think WWE is aware of TNA on Monday nights and tries to step it up at least a little. For example on the Jan. 4 show they brought in Bret Hart. This week they had the Orton vs. Legacy and McMahon vs. Cena matches (which the last turned into a gauntlet handicap but they still heavily advertised it the whole week) and next week Steve Austin guest host. Coincidence?

  • I say....

Stop being a god damn wrestling analyst and enjoy the fucking show.

  • why how can the business improve as a whole if you don't complain about certain aspects of shows nothing gets better and then there is no business

  • Keyword there: "Complain". How about some contructive criticism?

There's nothing wrong with giving your opinion of a show, but when people start forcing it on everyone else like it's a fact is when the line is crossed.

Some people enjoyed impact, yet there's people on the net saying we shouldn't enjoy it because it's imperfect and the product will get worst if we don't nitpick. That's some negative shit right there.

  • but the fact of the matter is that was a bad show and people need to realize the damage that TNA did to their own cause and understand that this is a business and that the booking they have done has been so harsh on their business. Did they have the best match out of the 2 other Monday shows yes but matches need direction and reason so TNA cant survive on incredible matches all the time

  • Why do fans need to "realize" the gospel of the IWC. How will that help improve the product, or get it a better rating?

Why should Joe Schmo tell his son who enjoyed watching TNA, that his feelings were false, because douchebag insider reported the show got a low rating & that RVD got buried etc.

    How ridiculous does that sound?

  • It will help improve the product if fans dont like what they see on their TV screens then why should they continue to watch and the rating will go down and the company will hopefully realize that the way they are doing things is not working and make the changes that are necessary to improve the product. Its a bit different between a young innocent child who does not know any better than someone of your stature who follows what is going on in the business

  • If that's the message you're trying to get across to fans, then why do all these shooters constantly bring up the low rating as a point of failure, when you guys may also have had a part in bringing the rating down, and are actually encouraging it.

And the young child example was a bad one, but the point is while he may not know better, is he not part of the fanbase that makes up the rating & buys the merchandise?

  • I was one of the few who watched iMPACT all the way through as in Canada RAW does not start until 9:15 so you cant say I did not bother watch iMPACT. The rating is a failure as when TNA had the Jan 4th show it was hyped just as hard and set a TNA ratings record and you would think they would of promoted guys like RVD and done really well with the main event they had

  • hey DDW, although T-slay will get some later, but since the both of you have very similar opinions, could ya plez answer me 2 things: 1# not just TNA, but ROH, the new NWA, Dragongate & etc.... have the same problem and we know the IWc isn't gonna could it, How can a promotion get more followers, TV viewers, etc ??? to what kind of TV demoghapic what does wrestling appeal, specially the ones have No clue that don't know the WWE used 2 be the WWFor basiclly People that Don't watch wrestling.....

  • on the previous I meant "Isn't gonna CUT it", but finally 2# If Hogan, Bischoff, specially Russo & Dixie aren't willing 2 listen 2 our cries & properly change TNA for the good, then go directly 2 their Real source.... the Owner of Panda Energy: Robert W. Carter, only if the pressure to suceed comes from him cuz he has the Money 2 keep TNA on the pandemonium its on now, then TNA will truly change for the good. Bombar him W/ letters, e-mail, phone calls & etc. until TNA is truly a Competitor.....

  • wrestling appeals to human nature they would need to have either a hot angle or a hot character to help get super exposure. ROH has the chance with them having a TV deal but they need to get on a better network as not many people have HDNET and some dont want to watch their wrestling online

  • Ty, but I mis-wrote parcially my first Q, I meant 2 what kind of TV demoghapic does it need 2 advertise & could can they do it better....

  • well they need to have characters/angles that appeal to every demographic i mean its easier said than done but if you have your main angle which every demographic can relate too but undercard angles that are target towards specific demographics(mainly minorities) you should have a very successful product

  • well I suposse that part is understanable, but I meant, How 2 advertise?, like: TV commercials, freeway billboards signs, Internet ads & etc., cuz great indy wrestling & critics like U guys are like that Chinese Q "If a tree limb fell but nobody saw it fall, did it make noise ?"

  • You would be amazed at what a Flyers and small road signs can do to draw in people.

  • I see, but I just really wish American promotions did advertise like they do in Mexico, cuz it might be eaiser for people 2 find out when a show & who coming to town, but well its up to the promotions & as far as Blue Demon goes since its personal taste, its fair enough.....

  • @Deltacide1

Yes, but how can you enjoy a show that's crap like say: TNA Victory Road 2009, especially yhat horrendous Jenna vs. Sharmell match

  • Rofl live in the past much? This guy is the definition of fanboy.

  • Props for pointing out that TNA needs to care about their monthly PPVs just as much as they do for Impact. Their bad to average PPVs is the reason why I don't view their product.

  • TSLAY...you're welcome about the four finger thing.

  • stop coughing lol

  • Everytime I turn around, I look in my subscription box, and people are making videos on TNA, even multiple videos in some cases, while only a small chunk of people are talking about WWE & Wrestlemania, thats really saying something, because their is definately something not right about that

  • @TNAFutureofWrestling

Like Truthslayer said, TNA has to be way better. This is why people talk about them like this. We are used to what the WWE is like so we don't talk about them that much.

  • People will always prefer one company over the other no matter how good or bad one company or the other seems to be, so to say that TNA has to be "way better", I dont buy that argument. This is Wrestlemania season, the biggest time of the year for WWE, and people are talking more about TNA's so called problems, it makes no sense to me.

  • @TNAFutureofWrestling

Because TNA is supposed to be the ALTERNATIVE and BETTER than WWE and people want it to succeed.

  • "Because TNA is supposed to be the ALTERNATIVE and BETTER than WWE"

That's the problem right there, you people expect to much from TNA. No matter what TNA does, people will always, no matter what find something to Bitch about. That's ludicrous

  • No. It is just the damn way it is. Face it. TNA has to grow. TNA is not in WCW's position now matter how much people wish it was. They are not this super popular promotion getting the upper hand on WWE during a period where the company was sucking shit. TNA does lower ratings than ECW/NXT. They have to get big quickly. If it's too much for them and they can't do that right now, then how can they expect to compete with WWE. If they can't do that right now, why would they move to Monday nights?

  • "TNA is not in WCW's position now"

    Who said it was?

"TNA does lower ratings than ECW/NXT"

No, actually, TNA got higher ratings then ECW the majority of the time if you focus primarily on last year, & they only get lower ratings then NXT now because they are on Monday nights. Put NXT on Monday Vs Raw, and see how NXT does in ratings?, exactly.

"They have to get big quickly"

please explain to me your definition of getting big?

  • "how can they expect to compete with WWE"

It does not take a magic 8 ball to realize that it will take TNA several months, and if not a year or even so to legetimately compete with WWE. I cant understand the logic in people wanting to see a true ratings war when the reality of the matter is that it will take time for their to be a true "war". Vince Russo even stated that, as well as Dixie Carter & Hogan himself

  • @TNAFutureofWrestling Which is why they never should have moved to Mondays. If you cannot adequately compete w/ another wrestling promotion, why move to Mondays and lose viewers?

  • I guess you dont follow TNA all that much, and I guess that's understandable, but if you did, then you would understand why TNA decided to make the move to Monday nights

  • Problem is, they had 8 years to do so. If you've been around for that long and you're barely beating rookies on NXT, something is definitely wrong here.

  • What about ROH?, they have been around just about the same time as TNA, so explain that one

  • Difference is, ROH puts on great shows on a consistent basis. TNA doesn't. They may pull out a great show once in a while, but if you're trying to dethrone WWE, being mediocre most of the time isn't going to cut it.

  • You didn't answer my question. If your going to jump into a debate, make sure you know what your talking about next time

  • Comment removed

  • What the hell are you talking about, you failed at countering my argument, you said "Difference is, ROH puts on great shows on a consistent basis. TNA doesn't" what dooes that have to do with anything that I was saying?

  • Your argument didn't need countering because it was irrelevant.

You couldn't come up with a coherent rebuttal for my argument, so you tried to change the subject. I entertained it as much as I needed to

Nice try, but if you want to win a debate, it's best to stick to the topic at hand.

  • I shouldn't be responding, but what the hell.

Weren't you the one that brought ROH into the discussion first? And even then, you couldn't even argue THAT point. A sad case, indeed.

It's good that you're not responding to my comments anymore. You don't need to embarrass yourself any further with your ignorance.

  • @MisterDynamite ROH puts on great shows on a consistent basis? That's not true. it's good-good-bleh to good-good--good-bleh .

  • explain what about ROH?

  • Rofl you guys ranting and bitching without offering any suggestions want it to succeed? How exactly are you helping the product? From what I see you're only discouraging people from watching the show, thus lowering the precious "rating".

What exactly are you guys trying to accomplish? You want us to start a petition to make TNA better? Write letters to Dixie Carter?

  • good work man i want good monday night tna need go to next level lol

  • 27 minutes....uggghhhhh!!! lol

  • You know you love it

  • hogan made a complete fool of him self trying to wrestle " fucking joke "

  • San diego is gona have the biggest raw of the year "im gona be there " give me a hell ya ,stone cold steve austin

  • I switch back and forth ,when the wwe does there stupid comedy i switch to tna "

  • Does anyone know how much money TNA is losing?

I mean when you look at all the "big names" they have now, especially thosr brought in recently, there is no way they can be a profitable company. Their PPV buy rates and show crowds seem way too small.

  • Im not a homophobe or anything but Im jus not into cassandro I think his gimick takes to much attention away from his abilities kinda like a mexican golddust

  • So far, The Big Bang looks like a great show imo. Besides Mania and maybe the King Of Trios its one of the only shows im really looking forward to this year. Right now, im not really bothered about Lockdown which is the other big show coming up.

  • I could be wrong but I think Spike TV, at least partially, pay for Hogan's contract. That being said, the people at Spike can't be happy with the changes.

  • Match at Start and End would work if it would have been a good match the few minutes it ran, then we would get a taste

  • This is probably a big step for ROH. Allowing fans to purchase downloadable content really expands their viewers because some people certainly feel better downloading on their own time instead of waiting for it to be mailed.

  • Jeff Hardy is the most over wrestler right now TNA had a chance to pull a rabbit out of the hat but they choose not to, casual fans would pay to see him.

  • The rant was 100% true, no one can dispute it. Some people may say that he is a hater, whatever fine that may even be true BUT try and dispute what he said! you can't it's impossible. It's what I've been saying for years.

  • Glory by Honor IV is on the downloadable DVD service. Misawa vs. Kenta. This is a sell.

  • Bryan A is a TNA hater. He never says anyhing good about TNA

  • ok I really wanna support ROH but I really hate tyler find Rodrick boring unless his in a 4 corner survival and Aries at the moment is just there to me and I could careless bout the rest of the card so why else should I order big bang

  • How good are the ROH PPV streams? I'm considering ordering this event

  • they are very good. i ordered last ppv, and i had never used go fight live, its easy, safe and good quality.

  • Impact WAS alot better then Raw.

  • Eye of the Storm 2 was tough to sit through. I'm just kind of hesitant about the 3 way dance because Aries might decide to wrestle a really methodical match instead of them just going balls to the wall which is what I think they need to do for this match but it's gonna be great no matter what.

  • i have listened to that radio show, and that are spot on with so much. there love for russo is awsome! i get the free podcasts, is it worth the monthly subscription fee?

  • Fuck yes it is. You get that then you get the podcasts with Dave as well pulls about 4 other podcats..on top of that you get BOTH news letters too.

  • Great video dude. Interesting that ROH are utilising the downloadable content, after we made comment about it on your last video.

Excellent comments on TNA iMPACT! too. You have to want fans to be engaged in the product, riveting television. Unfortunately, with the current "creative" team, there is no way this is going to happen. It seems that even Bischoff is dilluded with how talented he really is.

Agreed on Mr. Carter too.Sooner or later, they're gonna wanna know where there money has gone

  • I wish the ROH website would have Main Event Spectacle on dvd.

It had the first ever Scramble Cage match which was insane, Homicide v Bj Whitmer which is one of my fav ROH matches, and AJ v Danielson!

  • Hopefully the roh downloads work in europe! Only have one roh dvd but its deadly cm punk vs joe 2.

  • great video man

  • What you said about panda energies is MEGA true once they stop TNA stops

  • Ok Raw is an established Monday Night program. They pretty much know what there audience figure will be therefore they can go all out and promote WM. TNA on the other hand were on there FIRST Monday Night. They have no idea what there audience will be. Therefore establishing that audience takes precedent. You cant sell a PPV if noone is watching. Your ROH reference is case in point. Iv never seen ROH and they havnt reached out to me so they could promote it 50 times I still wouldnt see the promo

  • TNA's core was dropping before Monday though and this will make 3 PPVs in a row they have not built up..Well Four if you go back to Final Resolution To promote TV shows. You can't do that at the most you need to promote 50/50 which they have not been doing.

  • @TSlay1974

Why are you watching TNA if you think that is so crappy.?

  • lookin forward to the big bang...would have rather seen tyler win the belt live...but what can u do..

briscoes/kings...king/richards...and tyler/aries/strong.. i'm already sold. should be interesting

  • The TNA marks are delusional these days. I would bet most weren't even around during the original Monday night wars. WWE shit all over TNA this week, and it will be even worse next week.

  • TNA was more exciting. WWE continued to stay boring how did they shit over TNA? You can bring in the booking decisions and try to speak logical but that plays very little in shitting on TNA or any other wrestling brand when the other show was more exciting to watch.

  • @okusachink agreed

  • You would lose the bet.

I have seen wrestling since 1992.

  • Number of years and knowledge of teh industry are 2 different things sir.

  • Tslay are you interested in any shoot interviews coming out? I normally don't watch them myself (I know you don't due to shitty interviewers not doing follow up questions) but I personally think you'd enjoy the YouShoot series.. very entertaining. Check it out.

Gonna watch this video while I eat an orange and cook a tv dinner

  • There are few "Shoot" Interviews I like to be honest.

  • the Brian Kendrick & Paul London one looks to be one of the better ones coming out this year its from Highspots and they do a bang up job on shoots

  • Meh, as long as you don't watch the RF ones, I refuse to watch anything produced by that disgusting pedophile Rob Feinstein
