Ideally what should happen is the message of both right and left news sources should combine and the falsities and exaggerations that each present cancel each other out leaving behind a representation of the truth. What I think happens in reality is an ebb and flow between right and left news sources where the truth will be corrupted by each side for a period of time. But what this means is that the truth never gets a turn in the spotlight.

Yes Fox has some really good reporters like Bill Hemmer, but overall has more rightwingers than lefties, and of course nearly all the talk shows later in the day are rightwing. Foxnews is deemed by some as a conservative news network. What Robert G Kaufman is saying is the Bush White House give foxnews talking points. He is the third person I heard this. Dan Rather says it on Real Time with Bill Maher about 4 or 5 years ago. Scott Mccllean said it last year on Hardball with Chris Matthews then he backed off that claim in a heated exchange with Bill Oreilly on his radio station. If these claims are true, this is media malpractice of the worst kind.
