Actually I think the hidjab can be a very nice, modesty, but also cultural piece of clothing. I dont have a problem at all with it. Standards of modesty are derived from personal, familial, cultural &/or religious norms, and are defined as showing regard for the standard decencies of behavior. To say that she is wearing the hijab purely out of modesty implies that she has made a negative judgement on the standards of decent attire that other women in her society wear, which in another video she has specifically stated is not the case .

Actually I think the hidjab can be a very nice, modesty, but also cultural piece of clothing. I dont have a problem at all with it. But to claim, that only the hidjab is protecting you from the corrupt media to reduce the women to their body is ridiculous. You can be dressed modest without a hidjab as well as be dressed lascivous with a hidjab. Modesty also depends on your behaviour.

I think it's great you wear this... for a long time, I wanted to wear Hijab, because I think it's beautiful, and allows people to judge for your mind. I was told though, I can't wear it because wearing it is not in my religion (I don't have one.. ><) But seeing you wear it, I want to as soon as I move from my parents house, so I can wear it freely. Standards of modesty are derived from personal, familial, cultural &/or religious norms, and are defined as showing regard for the standard decencies of behavior. To say that she is wearing the hijab purely out of modesty implies that she has made a negative judgement on the standards of decent attire that other women in her society wear, which in another video she has specifically stated is not the case .

Newsflash, Mulattoqueen, you've been reading your Quran wrong - verse 78:31-33 doesn't say you, as a woman, will be getting any virgins. The false-prophet explicitly states in the Quran (Arabic version, not any sanitised English versions) that males alone will get the virgins. Women get zilch.

@fireball0rocker Actually, no. I am referring to the original Arabic to English literal translation. You are probably reading sanitised versions of the Quran that raise problems due to sanitisation, because of contradictions with other verses.
The Houris are women, with breasts and no menstruation (there is no need to mention menstruation if they weren't female). They are for males alone, per the verses in the Quran.

@PeterKuriakose - (1) do you just copy/paste whatever "seemingly" offensive Quranic verses you can find? Or do you actually read and try to understand them? Instead of copying ONE LINE, try reading the actual chapter it came from. This chapter talks about Hell & Heaven; who is sent there, and what can be found there. It talks about evil-doers who will be sent to Hell, where they won't find a single drop of "cool fluid" (ie. cold glass of water to quench their thirst).

@PeterKuriakose Inform yourself before you blur out false claims, if you read, then you can see that the dowry in Islam is given from the HUSBAND to the WIFE. chapter 4:4 reads: "And give to the women (whom you marry) their Mahr (obligatory bridal-money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart."
It would be wise to spend your time seeing knowledge rather than bias nonsense.

Wear the HIjab if you so wish , however, anyone attempting to follow the teachings in the Quran in North America will run afoul of our laws.
They will end up in jail where they belong. If you wish to follow Sharia law and/or the Quran stay in Saudi Arabia or any other Muslim country.
