It looks similar, but has a superweapon in a beam cannon on its shoulder, which only works when the Moon is out because a microwave power station on the Moon's light side needs to power it.

There's this base on the Moon that actually beams down the energy to the Gundam X when it uses the Satellite Cannon superweapon, but if the Moon's not out then the energy beam can't reach the Gundam X. It seems silly, but I guess it made a lot more sense when the war was in space, not on the Earth.
