When I saw his second Def Comedy Jam appearance originaly back in the day,("I ain't scared of you..."), I knew right then and there that Bernie was destined for greatness. The way the crowd gave it up to him at the end, you just knew. You felt it. I'm lucky enough to have his "MIDNIGHT MAC" episodes from HBO on VHS(who else remembers those?). When the "KANGS OF COMEDY" movie came out, I never laughed so hard in my life. It is truly such a great loss...We were all priviliged to witness his gift..
