Beautiful doggie. I have a question if you'd be so kind... I have been researching this breed for a while, and have been thinking about adopting a Shiba Inu as a companion. so would you say based on your experience so far that it would be wise or ignorant to have a Shiba Inu as a first pet?
@butchyisok I have had one for a few months now and I would have to say no for a first time pet. They are very stubborn and think that everything is theirs. If you drop it..it's theirs, if they find it...it's theirs and they can be pretty aggressive and annoying when it comes to getting it back. They are very cute if that's the only factor you care about, but a website that I came across doing my research had two descriptions for them: Macho Stud muffins, and fiery furballs from hell! LOL
thanks, i actually adopted a fi e year old shiba about a month ago.. needles to say she now runs the household haha.. but she is a magnificient pet.
