The movie was supposed to be incredibly dark and bloody. Even the Directors Cut isn't how the director envisioned it to be. But those Disney people were like, "trim the violence!" Ironic how one of the criticisms upon PG 13 release was the surprisingly bloodless battles. =P Great song!

I think Hans Zimmer was inspired by "Arthas, My Son". It's obvious cause the line from "O'Thanagor" plays multiple times.

@IceBaine Yeah but this one was maybe a little bit earlier. Frozen Throne, in which this particular melody you're referring to was featured for the first time, came out in 2003. King Arthur came out a year later, but we can assume that the soundtrack of the movie was composed earlier or around the same time as the soundtrak of the game. Anyway, both are amazing pieces.
