Well, Mr. Stink, er, Cenk, you were wrong on all counts. (No big surprise.) Savage didn't lose it on his last show (no more so than usual) and being dropped from KNEW didn't hurt him a bit. On the latter point, why didn't it hurt him. Well, you know why. He was picked up by another San Fran station that began broadcasting him on his next scheduled broadcast, and he remains the 3rd most listened to talk show host. You're a fool Cenk. This guy is a freakin' tool with a grudge against Michael Savage. Oh, and by the way, Savage's show isn't all that they dropped. According to the Arbitron ratings they lost a hell of a lot listeners when they chose to let him go. That sounds like a bigger drop to me because when KTRB picked up his show they saw a huge increase in their afternoon drive time ratings. The new "direction" that KNEW-AM is heading is down. Most in the industry heavily criticized there move and they were right.

On the other hand I think that far too many people today can't think for their selves so they need to be spoon fed information that the minority looks for. So with that much apathy going around I think we need more voices on talk radio to create new markets and offer different opinions. If a spoon feeder keeps hearing one set of opinions, then there's little chance that they will have the full story.

Doc Savage has not been hurt by the change. He still broadcasts over 300 stations nation wide and is still number 3 talk show host in the nation. The quotes on the video are typical yellow journalism and have been taken out of context. He has been on the air since 1994 and has a huge following. His following is enough to swing elections. What a mistake the station manager made when he fired Savage. With Savage gone they lost a good 80% of their audience. And Savage's replacements suck so bad it's not even funny. Savage was the one reason I listened to KNEW910. Now I use internet streaming.
