Yes, any spray substance with chemicals is especially bad for the tiny lungs and it does linger in the air. Just a note because so many artists have cats or dogs around their studio and might not think about taking precautions for them. Not that it's great for people to breathe either but animals are especially suseptible. : )
Sweet! Speaking of the queen, I have a copyright question. When you use a photo like that as a mask, is it infringement? Just wondering... I love your finish piece, by the way. So happy to have found you on YT!
@missjenibee GOD DAMN IT. This is the 3rd time I've tried to leave a comment for you()*(*&%%(*& I added attribution tot he photo. Its under a CC license allowing use with attribution. I'm sure this sort of thing isn't what they expected though.
@bamckuk thanks. I considered doing a transparency transfer but really wanted to draw and paint it, I felt it fit with the background better. Thanks. Practice makes perfect

@AF0093 I used spray glue. But a pressure sensitive glue would also work, as would double sided tape.

Don't use spray fixative around your pets though, need ventilation!

Love it! And the drawing and painting is impressive.
I've seen some videos where ppl. use masking fluids, but haven't tried that yet.
And... Love the imagery of this piece. Very strong!
