How do we say that the Dinosaurs extinct when they could have evolve to other reptiles over millions of years of climate change. The earlier dinosaurs were a lot bigger and more different than the recent ones. From bigger ones to smaller one alone tells us that they evolve into smaller ones because of climate changes. Birds are proven that they evolve from dinosaurs to say that they are extinct is stupidity, they are here evolve into other creatures. The neanthadal were said to be extinct but

Point is all humans truly didnt originate from earth...Even if you were born here that doesnt mean that your from here originally on the cosmic scale. Same thing with Asians or Africans being born in Europe and still being Europeans even though Europeans are predominantly white. A Caucasian or Spanish person being born in Africa and being called Africans.Just because your born on Earth and being called Earthlings doesnt mean your Earthlings originally..get it??That is the understanding all need.

Nobody has the right to say that man evolved from ape like form on its own. E.T genes are the missing link from ape 2 man. Even scientists 2day havent proved that man evolved from apes on its own. SO obvious..just close your eyes and think of an ape doin its thing in the wild and hold its image in your head while standing in front of a mirror. Then say in your head "we evolved from apes!" Then open your eyes and see yourself in the mirror and say it again. See how stupid you feel after that! lol

There are more than 10,000 civilizations in our Milky Way. I almost laugh because we are going to find that life is common throughout the universe. Scientists today are so idiotic just as the ones in the past were when the world was flat. Just 100 years ago scientists believed things spontaneously generated. I chuckle when science says nothing can travel faster than light, and that has been proven wrong. That claim is about as hard fact as when they believed the world was flat.

@jackrazalas Because "possibility" does not equal "probability". When scientists say something is "impossible" they really mean "highly improbable to the point of being impossible", or basically not worth considering as possible based on the facts.

I think humans are naive to assume that other intelligent life forms will be similar to us or even require the same things as we do to survive, in turn we may be looking in the wrong direction.

@drum4life42 i dont think humans think that. on the contrary, i think a lot of people (the smart ones at least) understand that Earth's uniqueness in the cosmos is truly extraordinary. A comprehensive understanding of astrobiology, cosmology, astrochemistry, and so on all provide glimpses into evidence of life in the universe. You might look at "Panspermia" along with Fred Hoyle's work... this guy is like the guru of investigating "origins of life in the universe."

this video is idiotic. speaking in absolutes about a universe that literally has NO END is so flawed. the biologist in this vid is looking at things from a human vantage point. just a few years ago scientists said there was no way a planet hotter then a few hundred degrees could support life. low and behold we discover life ON EARTH that lives in volcanic vents thousands of degrees hot. this is like claiming the earth is flat because we don't know how else it could work. we simply do not know

@dylanquarles If you weren't a moron you'd know that hydrothermal vents are only in the hundreds not thousands of degrees hot, about 464 C or 867 F take your pick. And the universe as having no end is a Spatial Measure.

They can speak in absolutes because absolutes have to deal with fact and logical inferences. It is a Pragmatic Determination, not another Measure of Distance. Space-Time may be Infinite, but Possibilities are Finite.
