I am sorry, did you manage to overlook the very recent studies by (among others) the CDC which found that sodomy among gay males, in particular, is more dangerous then smoking !. I never ceased to be amazed by pple invoking false and selective arguments of authority. Why don't you mention that the APA is after decades retracting it's study which shows that abortion has no psychological effects on women, For that matter, why overlook the huge failure rate of psycho-analysis(in excess of 40%)!

I'm not sure if I'm preaching to the choir, but if homosexuality is wrong according to the bible, why are some Christian Churches accepting it? Also, the bible does have rules that Christian's no longer enforce (like selling your daughter into slavery, or never shaving your beard, or divorcing your husband...). Why is homosexuality condemned, when these other rules I've mentioned aren't anymore?? Why can't we just love people as they are and not try to change them into what we want?

@bthechangeuwanna Why do some buildings (group of people) accepting it? Because they are not of Christ Jesus! Why are laws in scripture enforced and others not? Some had to do with the nation of Israel and others are meant for all!.....Same sex is obvious! A person doesn't really need the Word of God to figure out that its wrong! Christians are to love unconditionally! But love has to do with doing what is right in the sight of God.

I was a gay person. I believe i was delivered from this lifestyle in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. After accepting him, it is my duty to obey him because i love him. Homosexuality is indeed an abomination in the eyes of God. This is an Act of rebellion. There is no middle ground. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

Everyone sins. Christian and non Christian. The one hates sin the other lives in it without care!  The Christian has a relationship with God. And he wants to please God. So he is in a constant daily repentance of his or her sins. He hates what God hates and loves what God loves. If you were to take a still photo of a Christian you could get a photo of him sinning. But if you took a video of his daily life it would be one of loving God, not continual sinning. Rather pleasing the Father.

Oh one additional note, as I was in God's Word this morning I came across this scripture: Hebrews 10:26-28,30,31 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

Of course it's a choice! God would not punish or disapprove people for something that was part of His plan. I have a lot of compassion for people who are dealing with this. In the gay pride camp you have people saying that there is nothing wrong with it. In some so-called Christian camps they are so far over board that they make it look as thought it the worst sin ever. The Bible is clear. Sin is sin. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it.

Because God calls it sin. At one time in a person's life they made that choice. God is not going to call homosexuality sin because it's not. People want put labels on things. Like I have heard people say alcoholism is a disease? I just heard someone on the radio say that narcotic abuse is a disease? It's sin. That's what God calls it. God is light; in Him there is no darkness.

Everything we do is a choice! Heterosexuality (the lust of the flesh) is a sin apart from being married. Matthew 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

I agree, bcraig5. This is sad. Being gay is not a choice and God never said it was. God created us gay and straight, and it is people thousands of years ago who have attempted to put into God's mouth the words "it is a sin." A loving, committed gay relationship is as right as a loving, committed straight relationship. Sin is doing intentional harm to our neighbor (or ourselves) or not doing that which would help our neighbor. God is bigger than the misconceptions written long ago.

I have dealt with this subject only when I found that people were posting that they were homosexual Christian. That is what fueled me for why they would say such a thing. I did my research and found that it is a new wave of propaganda that the pro-(so-called) gay agenda is propagating. I know what I believe and you know what you believe? I am not going to argue with you. Seek the Truth out for yourself. Jesus said you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
