  • Can anyone tell me why American tellihandlers have the boom so high? Giving you a blind spot like the machines here in the 80's? In 96 we started using panoramic and you can see were your going!! Why do Americans still use these dinosaurs? Come to England an see how to drive these on site

  • The boom is far too high on this pice of shit! Jcb 540 170 all day long! But at least cat are better than manitou an bobcat, merlo, and all the other shit about

  • Ya looks like a JLG

  • ma fai ridere con questo coccio....

  • i've ran the older cat's and new ones just like this one and i really think the new ones are shit, they are not operator friendly at all and they are so fucking rough riding.... its sad that cat started using JLG to make these

  • The cat th's in europe ar built under licence from. We do use them for construction in the UK - I work for Finning UK Ltd - the British Dealers for Cat.

  • stuppi........muy stupidd

  • looks a bit top heavy if you ask me but nice video why is the boom so high up on american machines they just look so diffrent to the british ones or should i say the ones over here still looked very solid and not a bad operater

  • We use our telehandlers differently. Europeans use them for agricultural and Americans use them for construction. We are looking for height as we'd load up a bundle of plywood for a three story roof or bricks for a second story wall. A good example of an American telehandler would be this, watch?v=bhxowg3P_M8 a Skytrak. We also don't really use telehandlers for agricultural use here. Mostly front end loaders.

  • so in farming over there you dont use telehandlers thats good to know i wonder why that is it could be cos they only have that one use not like a tracter just a thought but thanks for talkin budy bye

  • Some farmers use them but most use front end loaders. just because you can haul more with a massive front bucket. We also use a lot of skid steer loaders too. The front end loaders we mostly use are John Deere, New Holland, Case with front end loaders attached. They are basically just tractors. Bigger farms use rubber tire loaders like Caterpillar, Kawasaki, John Deere. They are not farm equipment, but construction equipment.

  • are you a farmer your self or construction worker im both realy but iv used almost every bit of tackle you can think of exsept those horible tower cranes you couldnt pay me enough to climb one of those things haha whot hapens if you forget yous lunch box in the car hahaha

  • the cats are made by gradall and they are bullet profe

  • JCB = Junk

  • No mate jcb is good... better than cat..... the cat backhoes are too light on the front like:D

  • No way, CAT wins! How could you compare a JCB to a CAT?

  • jcb 540-170 anytime

  • sorry boys and girls JCB 540 wins hands down every time

  • i agree, i drive a TH580B, crackin handler

  • The last two versions were crap.

All they did here is paint a JLG yellow, slap on come decals and charge more money for it.

  • get a pettibone

  • the th series were scrap!, this jlg will be a good addition to cats line!, good video!

  • Agreed..... just a rebadged JLG.....I prefer the THseries....

  • Just the US spec JLG with a different badge. Still good though won't be available in Europe. Prefer my CAT TH580B 17metre machine

  • nice new telehandler!
