you have to edit your video then press file out put. once you choose your settings you drag your file to your video's then upload to youtube! i suggest you use mpeg 2

no possibility to insert an external mic it lack of the special red hole and it is a very bad lack and for this reason I don't buy this camera Panasoni must be less stingy next time they put on the market a new camcored while canon fs 100 has the magic red hole for the external mic

this camera is very pretty but it has a very bad lack and in is there non an hole for the external mic and it is very hard to find the extra battery when it will happen that Japanese engineers will do something perfect I believe never will happen .

Now I'm using Canon a560 as a video camera, but it doesn't have optical zoom on videos etc, so I'm planning to buy a camcorder and I think about this one... but I think that my canon would perform better in the in-door light conditions than this...

Also, it should be noted that I have been using this camera pretty extensively over the last month, but it has recently acquired some sort of lens error. It can never seem to focus correctly and the zoom doesn't work.

Is there much "digital noise" in the video? It's not possible to see it on this film because of the YouTube's compression.

I got one of these 2 weeks ago and 2 days ago it stopped working. Gave me a bunch of errors and so I took it to Futureshop and exchanged it for a new one. Other then the whole not working thing, i have loved my camera. Hoping that I just got a fluke defect.

Yes. You can record with the LCD closed, I don't know how this effects the life of the battery though.

The mic on this camera, and the ability to record audio, are the best part.

The aspect ratio looks whacked. It looks like it should be 16:9, but that would require bigger black bars at top and bottom.

you can set it to 16:9 or 4:3 on the camera. I had it set on 16:9, but for whatever reason it didn't maintain the aspect ratio when I transfered the video and uploaded it.

So it will record in 16:9 - thanks - the chick at the store couldn't tell me that and the info I've looked at on the net didn't seem to state anything about wide screen. I'm doing a film and TV subject next semester and need a camera that will record in widescreen. I think I've just found the one I'll buy.
