Last I checked, Madonna wasn't the first one to rock tight blonde curls, she wasn't the first one to dance raunchy on stage in a corset/bustier with fisnets, and she even "sampled" music from ABBA when she released her single "Hung up." There is a lot of artist that have been inspired by many looks by Madonna, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Xtina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, etc. Madonna also has been sinpired by many like Marilyn Monroe and others.

Yet, when you just do it over and over again in every single song and in every concert and album, you can't just say "oh i'm just inspired" you are not putting nothing original on the scene and you are a copycat. Once might be fun, but the whole career it's just desperate.

Born This Way didnt sound like Express yourself but Fashion of His Love did, but that isnt a bad thing. I love Madonna too
