I have always thought this for many years, how can black men folk sing so high, sound like cherabs, and have such a range of harmonics, I have always thought the width of the neck or maybe shorter vocal chords, thinner, tighter larynx, bit like a Uke';-), black chaps never seem to strain there voices, neither Asians but not so good as the player involved here, superb voice and superb playing, very, very good my friend, superb.

how is the action on your tenor? i've heard thaat they are a little bit high.

That determines on what you consider "high action".

The distance from the fretboard to the strings is approximately 0.05 centimetres. For a player like myself who alternates between strumming, slide playing and fingerstyle solos, the action is more than acceptable.
