I also didn't try to jump because for me it seemed she wouldn't cover the distance to that hammer. I tried swinging there but I didn't have enough time to go back because of the rising fluid. I normally don't do such things but this time I was so frustrated that I had to check the walkthrough for that relic.

ha ha I got the relic a totally different way. I climbed back onto Thor (or whoever the god is) after I bowed his head again. It was tricky because I had to avoid the blue liquid, but I was able to grab the hammer from there and climb up. LOL this game is very glitchy!

damn....i didn't think you could make that jump......so I dropped from the top, grappled onto the ring in mid air, swung my way over there, grabbed it and then grappled my way up before the water rose....made it more difficult than it had to be apparently, but I pulled off some serious Indiana Jones shit in the process:)

Wow. This makes a lot more sense than the way I learned >.> I did this kind of jump/roll thing on Thor's arm, and then I jumped onto the hammer from his elbow. I don't know if that makes sense but w/e. After seeing this video I get what to do. :P

first time i did this game i got a MASSIVE glitch on this level. not sure how but the opening to get the other thors belt piece was open. but was still streaming the poison blue water over the doorway. wasnt able to get in.lol didnt happen this time. i made a new account for platinums only. cant be bothered reading it up.got it plat on my old account. so thought would just use your guide to get this relic again

And talkin about spiders...there's not many things that can scare me (I watched the Alien series when i was 7 or 8 :D ) but when I firts saw that thing I was like "what'ta fuck is running across my monitor!?" :D And that freakin sound of killing them maked me almost puke when i heard it first time...It's horrible :D

BTW what the hell are the same spiders doing in Mexico and in Arctic ?! :D

That happened to me on TR3 with the giant cobras. My worst phobia ever! Didn't mind about the giant spiders though. Thank God the developers didn't deem it necessary to add snakes as enemies for this game.

i recommend you get back and see if the relics are still there, or look through your saved games, bcoz same happened to me and it was because i didnt load the game wer i had the relics

do u need to get the relics in same playthrought to get the achievement? cos when i were playing in croft manor i returned to coastal thailand get the second relic i took it and i got the first relic achievement then i returned to mediterranean sea get the first relic (noachievement cos next is get 3 relics) then i went back to croft manor take the 3rd relic and nothing happened. it was my 3rd relic and second relic achievement is collect 3 relics. hope u understood my point cos im bad english

no those are just tiny spiders the big ones don't appear until this level.

The spiders are creepy but they make really funny sounds when you kill them, like in the movie Eight Legged Freaks. A lot of 'ow', 'ugh', and so on. The thralls are the true creep outs. Unless you do a special move they will stand up again later and attack again.

I found that you could kill a spider without taking any damage if you just stood there and kept kicking it. Saved me a lot of health on Master Survivalist (which is pretty easy anyway)

I've used the unintentional route. You can get on the hand and then on the hammer from the stairs that lead to the belt (the "water" on the stairs doesn't kill Lara). The camera goes crazy and you can fall sometimes, but usually it works.

Nice one! This is the only relic I didn't know how to get. I pulled the hammer back out with the grapple and then the statues head went down but after that I was stumped... So thanks!
