This anime has such a great message. I love the part where Takizawa is talking to Mr. Outside and discussing work ethic. There's something righteous about that scene that transcends Japan. With all the cynical crap going around, people forget that hard work and accountability still have power.

But i want to tell you that, sometimes, it's worth watching a serie even if you didn't seem to like the first episodes, there are some cases in which a serie will get better over the time, in my case happened with One Piece. As with Higashi no Eden, i liked it from the beggining, but that's my opinion.

So many people say that this isn't the proper ending, but it is. It's the Japanese Raw's/Original's opening, and I think it's the best one.

I reckon the reason why this anime became so good was because they got REAL American voice actors to do the English voice acting, so it didn't sound like Engrish Fail. This is what it would be like without the proper voice actors:
