@manxdude1 Anti-Personel mine works kinda like frag grenade, when it explodes it "shoots" schrapnel straight up or around it (depending on mine) so no, it should not be powerful enough to take out an hummer. And about artillery rounds, sometimes their fuse doesn't work and round doesn't explode. But these round are still very hazarous 'cause they can blow up from slightest movement.

i was a combat engineer as well- bouncing betty was the nickname for the german S mine, it just happened to be a generalized name given for most bounding fragmentation mines by people who don't know anything about landmines.

i train soldiers on how to find landmines and teach them basic landmine familirization and i spent my years in the army as a combat engineer emplacing and breaching minefields, that is hw i know about landmines
