Darren was so sick when they filmed this. Any of his other live performances are phenomenal. Its not surprising that he was so sick, traveling to NY to record with the Warblers, then back to LA to shoot with the Glee kids, then everywhere else in the freakin country. Your resistance would be down, too. Yay for Darren stickin it out even though he had an awful cold! :)

Darren was probably just tired or worn out. He's a really busy dude. I totally think he was sick or something because I've seen Darren live many, many times and he always sounds incredible. I think the studio cleans his voice up TOO much, actually.

I wasn't that Darren sounded off. It's just that people expect him to sound perfect since perfection is pretty much what you hear on an album with all the cleaning up that they do. Also, singing while jumping around and dancing is IMPOSSIBLE to keep your voice stable and not have it crack or sound different. Try it. Maybe it will give you a better understanding :) <---(not being sarcastic or mean.) I think he sounded great and that little laugh at the end.
