  • Wow

That's exactly what I'm looking for!!

I'm def getting your exact ups...

Thank you for advertising your sweet ride and good sound choice bro..

Did all those mods make a noticeable increase in Hp and torch??

  • my hemi is the same color :3

  • my lord the sound cool.stock exose !!!?!?by the way wich headers is better !!!?

  • Hey so any chance you can post a WOT video? Im about to make the exact same set up. Does mds drive you crazy?

  • @msbaugh440 WOT was definitely my intention initially but haven't had an opportunity. Hopefully I'll get one up before you get your setup.

  • @msbaugh440 BTW, MDS is unnoticeable with how quiet the cab is. The shop that deleted my reso assured me I'd have nothing to worry about & they were right.

  • looks like you still have the resos did you delete the mid muffler?

  • @dejuan71 Resos have been deleted. Check out my stock vid which is the same setup + the reso/x-pipe & no headers. Can barely hear the damn thing. Stock has a mid muffler + resos at the exhaust tip. The Magnaflow kit I purchased placed the mufflers towards the back & the reso where the suitcase was. I think it looks a bit classier but takes a little away from the resonating sound of a straight pipe.

  • do headers add horse power? and if so how much? i got the jba exhaust,k&n cai but i want more power! how can i do thise without super chargering it?

  • @optimoe54 Every little piece you add to eliminate the restrictive stock crap will increase overall performance, hp & potentially fuel economy. (though you'll find yourself wasting more by punching it all the time). :) Anyway, the jba exhaust alone is about +10hp + the headers is another +15hp, then whatever you're getting w/ the k&n. Less airflow restrictions will increase overall performance. Imagine stock as trying to breath through a straw while running a marathon. Hope this helps!

  • @Pumzilla yes that helps me out alot bro. thanks for the quick reply and good info. headers will be my next step, then a preadtor tuner. thanks again

  • @Pumzilla hey I have an 08 r/t... kinda feel the same way you did about the magnaflow cat back exhaust! Im not very impressed with the sound I have now. Did adding jba shortys really help? Im wondering because im thinking of doing the same thing. Any issues with check engine or the jba header gaskets? I heard they leak

Thanks a lot man. As a fellow mod guy advise is always needed

  • @msbaugh440 Adding the jba shorty's not only gave it a throatier sound, it also increased hp. One thing to mention though, if you have the same kit, I also deleted the reso at the same time. As far as leaking, ALL the senior members of ALL the lx forums said to swap the gasket & use the OEM 6.1 header bolts. Both options are extremely cheap & available directly from the dealer. Mopar gaskets, P/N: (1) 53013944AA and (1) 53013943AA & 6.1 Mopar header bolts (17) P/N: 6503131. No issues at all...

  • @Pumzilla also what all did you need to do to make the shortys work with the magnaflow? Do you have stock cats still on? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to see what i need to do for this kind of mod

  • @msbaugh440 I'm in CA so I can't swap the cats, all stock. Nothing special required though I'd highly suggest you pay a professional for the install as the clearance due to the massive engine SUCKS. JBA's are freaking awesome...

  • @optimoe54 The shorties (per JBA's site) supposedly buy me +15hp but they also added to the throatier sound of my system as well. I couldn't be happier...
