Unfortunately, the strong desire to hunt, working together as a unit and kill, is more important to a wolf and their social structure, than waste the better part of an animal such as an elk, which for now seem plentiful.
whatever you guys support having wolves or not...they re-introduced wolves because ...they provide an important balance in nature... for one...they keep the coyote numbers down....that's got to...help farmer"s too.
search Wolves v Coyote....you will see what i am talking about.....
@wolfpuppy77 Indeed I do makes no sense as a syntax if reply to the wolf251982's comment. Also, wolves weren't created. They evolved just like you and I did.
ok you reacharound ridge pussy, do you live in montana, wyoming or alaska? if you did and you werent some fagget kid running your mouth you would no that the community in these beautiful states realy on tourism. so stfu b4 you speak. + trophy hunting for food has been around for 1000's of years and alot of people in our economy realay on wild game meat instead of your steroid infested beer try real beef or real game that wasent injected and wasent raised in a 4x4 pin!
they won't be slaughtered cause they're in yellowstone. even if they go out of the park most of them have tracking collars and it is illegal to shoot the ones with collars
actually serious fight between wolves are very very rare and even in their most aggressive displays, it's ritual and for display only. To draw blood is something that wolves would not do to other pack members. To injure any member of the pack would mean 1 less hunter. Posturing is very important to wolves. They can assert dominace without having to injure.
For sure. Wolves often play like this as a way of socializing and/or pups practice dominating behaviors that they may use under more serious pretense later in their lives...
I have 14 of them. They are fun, loyal beings. The black and gray seem to equally ranked wolves just wrestling. I have been to the Lamar and watched them escort a bison back to it's herd. Good vid.
Wolves are generally portrayed as vicious killers and a threat to humans. Wolves are timid when it comes to people so unless it was rabid you can be sure no wolf would come near enough to hurt you. Beware of bears and mountain lions though :)
yo i might throw myself infront of a bus tmrw so if heaven is real and shit maybe god will be like "you may become a wolf son" and id be like ...mean, then become a wolf
i love them but ive never seen one V_V

Go ahead and boycott Wyoming. We don't give a damn what you think.
Oh, and just to let you know... Yellowstone set a new record of visitors last month.
Apparently a lot of people want to come here and see your 'beloved' wolves.
