Piano is a grat instrument, for metal too. Serj, James Hetfield, Roddy Rottum, Dan Donegan, -->THE REV<--, M. Shadows and plenty more metal artists play/played Piano! Guitar is awsome, i'll give you that, but, for covers atleast, i get bored listening to THE EXACT SAME INSTRUMENTS that it's played on, atleast if they've added nothing. Band Covers are different.

What im trying to say is: Metal issnt all about the guitar!!

Just listen to Van Canto. They are completely A Capella (and drums, I guess) but they are completely metal. They do some badass covers, too; Battery, Master of Puppets, some Iron Maiden songs...
