Call me callous but this just does not do it for me. I see these beautiful young woman and just feel angry that their men (and by the way there are woman in the military -- where are their men?) are risking their lives for naught. The reasons for war are usually false justifications,and not worthy of the money and lives spent.

Why are we fighting in Afghanistan? Why are young men and women dying out there? Does anyone understand the purpose, let alone have an exit strategy? While I admire the women singing this song (but why no husbands of military women or male partners of gay soldiers?) - products such as this direct attention away from the hard questions that we should be asking of our government. A friend of mine's grandson died during training in Wales (he fell down the side of a mountain). He would have been a good soldier. The risks these men and women are exposed to (necessary risks) do not start when they go on active service.
You are right to highlight the risks our Forces endure...as you said not only on the front line, but, also training... again, this is why I bought the CD.
My son is one of the Sailors that put himself at risk every day - and I pray for his safe return everytime he is away - He will not be home with his family this christmas - instead he will be spending christmas day in the middle of an ocean

Have just left the British Army after a very long career, I have had the privilage of living in many military communities since 1975!. I cannot think of another television programme that has managed to capture so well, the selfless, strong spirit that creates the fantastic teamwork we see here. A lovely piece of music. Why are we fighting in Afghanistan? Why are young men and women dying out there? Does anyone understand the purpose, let alone have an exit strategy? While I admire the women singing this song (but why no husbands of military women or male partners of gay soldiers?) - products such as this direct attention away from the hard questions that we should be asking of our government. They have got us into a terrible mess and more brave young people will die for little clear purpose. A tragedy.

My son is one of the Sailors that put himself at risk every day - and I pray for his safe return everytime he is away - He will not be home with his family this christmas - instead he will be spending christmas day in the middle of an ocean

it shouldnt matter if the song is good or bad ... but what does matter is the fact these women are doing this for all troops and if it makes the men out there fighting / keeping the peace keep there heads held high and booost there spirits then im all up for hearing more its the thoguht what counts and for all the mouthy people i dont see you doing anything for your country or showing your support other than viewing your points at women whom are thinking of others and more so at this time of yr.

Have just left the British Army after a very long career, I have had the privilage of living in many military communities since 1975!. I cannot think of another television programme that has managed to capture so well, the selfless, strong spirit that creates the fantastic teamwork we see here. A lovely piece of music. Congratulations Ladies!
