  • Parabéns!!voçê toca muito bem!!continue assim!!!

  • Pretty sure he's just joking. You're all morons

  • You sir, are a sucking faggot. Loose the glasses and the shirt.

  • You are an extremely talented young guy. Don't listen to the negative comments that you get. These are from people who are jealous. They will never be as good as you. You play better than a lot of college/university music students. Keep practicing, never stop, you will have a great career.

  • mr. Theodor Friberg, I don't know how old you are but as I can see now you have a great technique for a kid your age. all the speed and everything. But I would like to remind mind you that it's really important to start from slow speed first becoz it's not just how fast you can go or how good is your intonation. there are also more to concern about the swing feel and how many sounds you could make by playing the same song over and over again.

  • dios mio.. no toca mal el pibe.. pero que pelotudo que es!!

  • Theodor is young - lucky him!

Yes, youth brings with it a certain impetuosity. As a young musician I liked to play fast too, and I still do.

It is important to play slow at first and build up to playing fast. The timing is important, no point rushing certain phrases to get stuck on others. Let's be honest, sax players find playing Parker difficult, playing it on the bass is very difficult - at least I find it so.

Great that a young guy is playing this music. Good luck and TY Theodor!

  • You have so much to learn!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Playing music together and improvising is not just about playing a lot of complicated notes really fast, it is about expressing your feelings and communication. Your comment about not wanting to play slow is just ridicolous. Listen to Charlie Haden playing a ballad, and try to understand why he chooses the notes he does. Try to learn as much as you can, play with people that are better than you and learn from them.

  • Ok, good things first: you have a good sound and a pretty good technique. I didn't hear so much walking but you have a timing problem that you need to work on. Keep on practicing melodies, but don't limit yourself to CP, there are millions of other music you can learn from. But - please stop posting lessons about these things, because you simply don't have the experience and knowledge for it.

  • Theodor don't like play slow because he's very young, and he have a lot of energy and desire to challenge everything. But when he will grow he will learn to feel from deep inside any single note as the best musicians and maybe he'll play those song even slower. However it's sure that Theodore is walkin on a good good way to become really a really good musician. Byyyyyyy

  • like Ray Brown, John Patitucci, Christian Mcbride, Avishai Cohen ????

    hahaha

  • @almog49 What do you mean by that?

  • don't disrespect parker, learn the melodies, and it's not about playing them "really fast in concerts" it's about understanding what happens inside them.

  • @galshaya Some people think that in this case that Parker's melodies are really great because you can play and learn a lot from them. Some of them are really hard to play and if you have lucky you can play those songs and when yo have done that, you will be able to play really fast like a real Bebop musician.

  • @TheodorFriberg The only advice i can give you is to work -really- slow on the phrases one by one until it's as tight as it can be and only then try to play it just a little bit faster, and if you'd transpose those phrases to some other scales, you'll earn a-lot more control over this kind of music.

  • @galshaya Maybe that could work and help other musicians but not for me! I don't like to play slow, it's not fun!

  • @TheodorFriberg

    fail

  • @TheodorFriberg Which explains everything...

  • @TheodorFriberg thats not the point, you gotta practice, woodshed, get your chops up, then worry about speed, i sat for 3 hours learning got a match on guitar today, phrase my phrase, super slow, now i can play it with chick. take it slow and work up

  • @TheodorFriberg hey man sorry homie

  • @galshaya Thank You..........
