  • This is so cool. I am an organist too, and looking for some new pieces to add to repertoire. The computer assisted design (CAD) model is incredible! This gives me a whole new conceptualization of how I play. Awesome!

  • a great dupre....good sound and virtuel picture....

  • So did you actually play this in or is it MIDI by computer?

  • Hello Contrubas,

Yes, I played it live. Usually one can tell a regular midi file by the clock-like tempi and little or no retards at cadences. I have been playing piano and organ for over 50 years (yikes!) and have known the Dupre since the late '70s and early 80's.

    Cheers,

    Joe

  • You are correct in asserting that not all of the registrations are as prescribed by Dupre. This because the concert organ located in the Palace of Arts, Budepest Hungary, is not a typical French instrument. In my performance, I strove to bring out the various canons and musical themes/motifs with a great deal of clarity. Not being of French design, the organ has many more foundation and flute stops and comparatively fewer reed resources.

  • Alcune registrazioni non sono quelle prescritte da Duprè.

Come qui realizzate, alcune variazioni sono tecnicamente ineseguibili da una persona sola.
