It's one of the better romance anime's I've seen so far. And in my opinion, the artwork ... even though it would have been a really difficult choice ... I think it's was the best. Gives you more the focus on the characters instead of it's environment.

At first the very basic art style was a bit of an ''off' for me. I just got done reading Suzuka and I guess my eyes are just acustom to really richly detailed environments. However as I continued to read it I began to really apreceate the strong character focus. This is probably my the best romantic manga I have read since Maison Ikkoku.

i liked the anime in the begining it had my attention but toward teh middle then end i was like wat the fuck. the ending is fucking lame. 1 to 14 great 15 to 26 freakin lame. i meen ya i understand where they were trying to go wit the ending but they could have done 100 times better. Good amv btw

the thing is from 15 to 26 they changed the director because he got into an argument the company. they were criticizing the way he was directing the show, after the fight he quit and his sort of protegee took over. also you gotta realize that this is a "commercial" anime meant only as publicity for the manga.

the manga by the way is complete already the author finished it 1or2years ago look for it online but the title is different its "kareshi kanojou" kare kano is just the slang term for manga.

ya this is the FIRST anime out there where they don't spend 20934820394 episodes on a couple *gasp* admitting they love each other and then another 23049283409 episodes on OMFG they ALMOST kissed...ya this anime is more like real life, u dont spend 50 freakin years getting to know someonoe and still get shy when they accidentally bump into you.
