You can get the PS1 arranged DQIV soundtrack on one of the 3-disc box sets (I don't know offhand which one but I own them all).

This song is exceptional, but the PS1 arrangement of the boss theme is the BEST.

Lol. Akira Toriyama, the designer of the Dragon Ball characters also does work in video games. Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger being some of his work.

OH GOD YES! This was my first DQ Also, and by far the best of the series, with IMO VIII coming in at second place.
