....Cake is an awesome band Ive seen them live in concert 5 times, and every time they release a new CD they just get better and better, Like Beck, They were so far ahead of their time....Its a shame more people dont know their music and can appreciate the great quality.....Even though its an old song Jolene has always been my favorite......Keep up the fantastic work Guys, You Rock !!

What impresses me the most about this particular song and performance is the time in which it was created. These guys were clearly operating on a different frequency in 1994 considering the other music that was being created at that time.

Great stuff. They keep it real tight and tense up until the point where john yells, "Just the guitars!" and then it releases all the tension that was built up. It produces such a fantastic effect. gotta love it.

Wow... look at the babyfaces on John & Vince. Compare them with some of the more recent Cake vids to see the passage of time. It seems like yesterday for us "old farts" who remember when they were still playing tiny clubs in Sactown like Old Ironsides and the Press Club.
