@NAJ0202. it doesnt really help that the current head of NamcoBandai the people who make SRW now, was one of the co creators for Patlabor. even going so far as to state he would like to see the series in SRW. then for no apparent reason flat out deny his first statement before Z came out.

@donkeykong75m I don,t think Patlabor would fit into SRW it,s mainly about law enforcement mech,s (wit the exception of stuff like the Brocken) whilst most mech,s are either military (like the Gundam,s) or Super Robot,s (like the Mazinger/Getter robot,s)

@donkeykong75m Well, you know, if Patlabor started to figure in SRT, the system would be broken. We have Real Robots (Gundam, AltEisen, robots without EOT), we have Super Robots (Gundam, Getter, Grungust, SRX and the whole bunch of all the others, even EVAs) and then we have Labors, which are just TOO REALISTIC to fit into the suit.

I would revel in blessings if Patlabor got inserted in SRT, but the engine would be broken (you just can't work a Labor in space unless near the White Ark...)

Patlabor is all about realism, Gundam are just off the scale, Patlabors are realistic and possible. I mean, they talk about battery check, they talk about engineering...its just so realistic

I like Gundam's alot too but I think the idea of having an 8 meter robot like RX-78 is kinda off in realism but nonetheless, It fits the not trying to be realistic envoirment & its statue looks friggin awesome

@NAJ0202 the whole purpose behind Patlabor,s is law enforcement not space combat/regular combat they are also allot smaller than any other mech (like a Gundam or a GM) a patlabor wold most likly be destroyed when it gets hit by something like beam saber
