I assure you am I not a noob. I will not consider myself a master but come on, those guys never stopped using the cheapest move Jin has (the laser scraper). I do have to admit though, they did a good job with their mixups and didn't emphasize knocking their opponents down too often. After his leg sweep why do they use the down+4 sweep? There's enough time to do his flop kick (4~3) and do more damage <@_@)
Holy crap, I know this is two years later, BUT the reason they do d+4 after CD4 is because it's guaranteed and they get to remain standing. Allowing for another mixup. BUT if they are both in the finals at Green Arcade (Korea's Flagship arcade for Tekken) they are both as pro as it gets. Jin's JFLS (Just Frame Laser Scraper) was complete bullshit, I agree, BUT if you still play Tekken shoot me a message.
Hyeah, looking back at my old comments makes me think how arrogant it sounded. Thanks for the input. I honestly go for damage over mixup back in the day so I've changed my views. I still dig Tekken 4 more than the later ones. Tekken 5 was the pinnacle before it got too cheap. Balance is such a hard thing to have in a fighting game.
Yeah, damage over mixup is the way to go sometimes. BUT TTT was the best if you ask me, but 5.0 was silly. CH 1,2,1,2 with Steve = GG's and 3*,1,1 3*1,1 1,2,1,2 f+2,1 f+2,1~b FLK 1,1,1,f+1 = death combo and it was easy as fok.
Man, Tekken 5 was solid and cheap. Had a lot of good in it but the combos were broken at times that's for sure. Feng, jump over, 3, forward+2,1, throw = almost dead. Bryan, from the back, 3,3,2, forward+1+2, 3,3,4 (if I remember). Cheap combo's. Bunch of games in one though, nice stuff.
