So in the end he trains 50x harder and longer then a pitcher.
Try being on the road for 300+ days out of thee year and working two to three matches a week not to mention the massive amount of training and conditioning wrestlers go through to keep their superhuman shapes. Derek has to actually play the game of baseball unlike a pitcher who has to pitch a max of about 4 innings a game depending on the type of pitcher you are. Jeter is a shortstop which is one of the most important positions in baseball being that most hitters are right handed therefore hitting more balls towards him. Also he has the pressure of only making probably 1 error a game so that no one goes off on him for sucking ass. He plays all 9innings with pure focus through the entire game despite the 100s of thousands of people screaming the whole time. And since he's an icon he has to always be at his best. The reason they get payed so much is because of the fact that they have been working non stop to do since they were probably 10 years old. So in the end he trains 50x harder and longer then a pitcher.

This isn't to mention the practices, workouts, and playing a physically demanding (maybe not individual games) but half the year, plus workouts and training, EVERY year I can totally understand. @walkertonkidd thats such bullshit man. pitchers play max twice per week, batters hit 3 times per game, fielding is the most work a player does and only the outfielders have to actually run a certain distance. there's a reason they play one game per week, one play in those sports equals a weeks worth of work in the mlb. now taking into account that half of the mlb players are probably not even in shape anyways, maybe it is exhausting for them.

I guarantee you i worked harder than everyone in my conference but your genetics can only take you so far. I was one of the top 5 players in the conference. The best player got a full ride to LSU. I knew him from combines and other things. He wouldn't lift or run AT ALL during the off season. Never lifted a weight in his life but was a top 5 ranked DE in the country.
