Tienes razón FIFO566, al Galactor yo lo conocí como Zoltar, y de la Fuerza G, el primero al mando Mark, 2do. Jasón, el piloto de la nave Fénix se llamaba Tiny, Princesa la única mujer y Kio (o como se escriba, creo que así se pronuncia) es el niño. Ésta fue la primera caricatura de ciencia ficción que ví cuando tenía 5 o 6 años. Saludos desde México.

Why does it say 1986? I believe this is from the late 1970's, and they happen to re-run it in spanish in 1986.

watch "0yulka0" channel...it's the original early 70's version....the US version's in the late 70's and again in 86' was a heavily edited version...fight scenes, language, characters being killed, heavy plot lines were all redone because it was seen as too real...the real story lines are the best to see or read that is...Japanese with subtitles...

How many seasons of the original Battle of the Planets series was there?

"Battle of the Planets" (1978) was 85 episodes long, no "seasons" whatsoever. "G-Force: Guardians of Space" (1986) was also 85 episodes long, but both shows adapted different episodes of "Gatchaman" (1972) on some occasions. G-Force got up to episode 8 (out of 105) of Gatchaman, while Battle of the Planets got up to episode 101 (out of 105) of Gatchaman. Battle of the Planets skipped many episodes along the way though, while in G-Force the first 85 or so eps of Gatch were adapted straight.

There was an episode I remember from the late '70s (I was five or six) in which a cool ship/weapon was...uh...absorbed (?) by some sort of alien/ship/badguy and turned into this invincible hybrid thing that seemed utterly undefeatable. I realize this is a vague description, but does it ring any bells? :)

Yeah they are the same...but BOTP was edited a lot, they changed the background music and added crappy american footage...G Force was closer to the original version.
