@tuzmor I love how he says 'Oh dear'. I could listen to ten minutes of just him saying 'Oh dear'. In fact, I think I have.
As far as the swindle goes, KC had strong combined rooks and white had a king with no pieces worth a damn nearby and a compromised pawn structure. Black has always been the colour that takes advantage of white overextending itself, and I think this game exemplifies those traditional characteristics. The strong attacking white position came at the expense of defence.
"Don't know if you get anything out of these games..., How to swindle? Bad habits? Tactical blunders?" haha
But seriously something can be learned from all of your games win or lose I think. I was glaring at the monitor hoping you would make the pawns roll, and snap up his c pawn w/ your knight, but you went for his King instead and it paid off.
btw, does 11.Qa4 work ? Instead of sac'ing the bishop, or am I missing a tactic probably?
@Nola213 11. Qa4 does work. According to Houdini it keeps the evaluation at about +0.6 rather than making it jump up to +2.8. The only problem with Qa4 is that white can force the trade of queens, but it's hardly worth sacking a bishop to avoid the trade of queens.
@altay8 cool thanks for the reply. I don't own houdini or fritz or anything I can use to check these usually simple ideas out with. So I have to ask others. So Thanks again.
"It's gone completely this position (Kh2)... oh wait isn't that mating?" haha that was great

@sikaisvirins I think his back-row was weak... So if he takes and then recaptures with the rook, the opponent simply plays Rc8+ followed by mate

why no 4:45 Nxe5?
not winning a peace?
sikaisvirins 4 months ago
@sikaisvirins doesn't this fail because of NxN, RxN, then Rc8+ leading to mate?

Actually this is a good lesson from this game:
Mate the opponent before he mates you :-D
