Sun Ra was a futurist music cosmologist! He is about the most profound musician to date, John Coltrane was going into this landscape. NO ONE has a more DEEPER or FUTURISTIC INTROSPECTION on MUSIC THAN SUN RA! Personally as a spiritual human and a musician I cannot TOUCH SUN RA!

Damn, i wish people would stop, listen and understand this guy. I didn't get him the first couple of years, but now i realise he has made the most interesting, unique and beautiful songs ever recorded.

I dont understand any of this music at all.. not in any way, shape, or form.... but after having discovered Sun Ra a few weeks ago by some happy accident I find that I cant stop listening to it, this song and the song "angels and demons at play" I must have listened to 20-30 times in just the last week.. without a shred of understanding,  I find I still enjoy it.
