  • All those dead birds.... I hope there isn't a bat colony nearby or that these wind turbines aren't in the path of migrating bats, if so, consider them dead...

  • @hopeurforfreedom Birds sleep at night so won't hit it, and bats have sonar and can see in the dark. Stop trying to spread Bullshit lies. Also, it's more important to save the whales than the birds. No whales equals no iron put into southern oceans to feed the Krill, which are the base of all food in the ocean. Do some research. I have.

  • @pathosbedlam You don't know much about bats or bids.... I actually do research. check out the USGS info on bats....

  • Yeah Matt Howard. Congratulations. We should put in a whole flock of turbines along the lakefront.

  • we need some of these in Kentucky

  • The wave of the future, my friends...I surely wish I could set up one on my property and disconnect the electric company! Thing is, local ordinances haven't been changed to allow homeowners to set them up in residential areas....

  • Thanks Ben. I mentioned wind power to a different Lake Michigan community ten years ago to those that might make it happen..At least somebody is finally listening...
