been looking for three days to check on that before i buy the new but couldn't find anything on it

I have a memory card with 16 gb but when i plug it on my mac.. the blackberry desktop manager tells me that i have exeeded memory limit of the phone and memory card. But on the phone it says that i havnt used anything. What do i do to? I cant even use my memory card
