Anette lo hizo excelente sobretodo por que no es una canción para su tipo de voz, ella es genial... tiene mucha chispa, carisma, considero que Tuomas hizo una excelente eleccion con ella, y le hara sacar todo su potencial, en un futuro. Nightwish es totalmente genial...

I have the DVD and the CD, and have watched it more than once on YouTube. Please point where exactly in the song you think Tarja "can't hit some of her notes" or "her voice goes away". I haven't found anything wrong out of all the times I've watched it, so I'm curious where you think she screwed up.

Nightwish is not the same band without Tarja. With her their timing was perfect and they sounded epic, with Anette they sound like crap.
They are a good band but have a shitty singer, so that pulls the entire band down. I would not listen to this song with Anette on my audio system in my car for instance, but I would certainly listen to the ORIGINAL version with Tarja.

Lowlands was a disaster, and even in EoaE she stuggled as 'she was tired'. Same with Marco. But u take the good and the bad with Live, Ive seen bands totally mess up in the middle and start over with no harm done - the true fans of the band dont pick one another apart - except Van Halen with Sammy, that was complete nonsense.
I've watched all of the Lowlands performances here on YouTube and don't see what you're talking about, every song sounded great. Maybe not as good as End of an Era, but great nonetheless. Maybe you've seen them live and saw them perform even better than we can see here on YouTube. If so, I can only imagine how great they must have been, because everything I've see of the old Nightwish here is absolutely epic.
You're off your rocker, at 1:08 Tarja is singing the background chorus while Marco is singing his part of the song. She is spot on, in tune, and it sounds perfect.
It's obvious you and others simply try to prop up Anette by falsely claiming that Tarja wasn't any better. Tarja is a MILLION times better as she doesn't fuck up the songs while singing them live, and she makes them sound great, where no matter how hard Anette tries, she still fucks up.

Well she's certainly not good with this one nor with just about any other old Nightwish song. She has enough trouble trying to sing the new ones in front of an audience.
I think they made a huge mistake trying to have Anette assume Tarja's role in the band. They should have just written new music with Marco singing more of the leads, as in The Islander, with Anette providing easy backup vocals.
I think she's no trying to assume tarja's role because new songs are not opera, that's why anette adapt old songs to her possibilities, and though she has not got an operatic voice I like her. I think that for example The Siren is very good with her voice (and with Tarja's one too of course)
Seems Mr. Knowitall doesnt know that per contract obligations NW cannot use Tarja's voice in recordings for possible lawsuits - NW (Toumas) owns all rights to NW past and present, why on earth would he use the pre-recording of Tarja which would make him lose everything.

Yesterday i went to see them in Mexico City,i really liked it!! honestly i thought that it kinda would be a not nice concert but it really was nice,was a good gig.i agree totally with all that comments about the voice,we have to realise that it will never be the same,it cant be the same,they r 2 different person.BUT Anette really has such a personality,a smile all the time,she really conects with the audience a lot and that counts more than just a great voice sometimes.GO ANETTE!!

Tienes razon, de hecho se ven momentos en que la chica en ciertas canciones, compite (por decirlo de alguna manera) con el publico y con Marco para que se la oiga y hasta en ocasiones se oyen como grititos y por lo general la tapa la musica de los instrumentos. No tiene voz para cantar esas canciones en directo aunque lo intenta y a veces le sale bien....aunque eso sí, actua bastante bien en el escenario pero se echa mucho de menos a Tarja...

I have the DVD and the CD, and have watched it more than once on YouTube. Please point where exactly in the song you think Tarja "can't hit some of her notes" or "her voice goes away". I haven't found anything wrong out of all the times I've watched it, so I'm curious where you think she screwed up.

I dont need you to tell me that u have the dvd and the cd, I've got them too...I've got all of them and the last one, and all the singles form the last album... do u like them? Maybe some people were not truly fans of nightwish but fans of Tarja's voice only... And what I want to say is that any singer in the world sings pefectly live, even tarja... and wish i had an angel is not especially ine of the songs Tarja sings better

Nightwish is not the same band without Tarja. With her their timing was perfect and they sounded epic, with Anette they sound like crap.
They are a good band but have a shitty singer, so that pulls the entire band down. I would not listen to this song with Anette on my audio system in my car for instance, but I would certainly listen to the ORIGINAL version with Tarja.

the sound is different obviously. if u prefer the ORIGINAL good for u, a prefer both of them. Im lucky!! =) Ive got more songs to listen to. WILL ALL OF LEAR TO BE RESPECTFUL QITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIFFERENT PREFERENCES??

Lowlands was a disaster, and even in EoaE she stuggled as 'she was tired'. Same with Marco. But u take the good and the bad with Live, Ive seen bands totally mess up in the middle and start over with no harm done - the true fans of the band dont pick one another apart - except Van Halen with Sammy, that was complete nonsense.

I've watched all of the Lowlands performances here on YouTube and don't see what you're talking about, every song sounded great. Maybe not as good as End of an Era, but great nonetheless. Maybe you've seen them live and saw them perform even better than we can see here on YouTube. If so, I can only imagine how great they must have been, because everything I've see of the old Nightwish here is absolutely epic.

You're off your rocker, at 1:08 Tarja is singing the background chorus while Marco is singing his part of the song. She is spot on, in tune, and it sounds perfect.
It's obvious you and others simply try to prop up Anette by falsely claiming that Tarja wasn't any better. Tarja is a MILLION times better as she doesn't fuck up the songs while singing them live, and she makes them sound great, where no matter how hard Anette tries, she still fucks up.

Well she's certainly not good with this one nor with just about any other old Nightwish song. She has enough trouble trying to sing the new ones in front of an audience.
I think they made a huge mistake trying to have Anette assume Tarja's role in the band. They should have just written new music with Marco singing more of the leads, as in The Islander, with Anette providing easy backup vocals.
This is way beyond her ability.

I think she's no trying to assume tarja's role because new songs are not opera, that's why anette adapt old songs to her possibilities, and though she has not got an operatic voice I like her. I think that for example The Siren is very good with her voice (and with Tarja's one too of course)

Seems Mr. Knowitall doesnt know that per contract obligations NW cannot use Tarja's voice in recordings for possible lawsuits - NW (Toumas) owns all rights to NW past and present, why on earth would he use the pre-recording of Tarja which would make him lose everything.
I have come to the conclusion that u are either a very disgruntled ex-fan, Marcelo or Tarja herself from these false proclomations and observations, but unfortunatley u are given an opinion - we've heard it.. no leave.

I am a HUGE annette fan, but this is one of those songs i still am trying to get used to her singing..it is not bad at all, but when tarja did it..wow. But i LOVE annette and she does AMAZING on this song!

Yesterday i went to see them in Mexico City,i really liked it!! honestly i thought that it kinda would be a not nice concert but it really was nice,was a good gig.i agree totally with all that comments about the voice,we have to realise that it will never be the same,it cant be the same,they r 2 different person.BUT Anette really has such a personality,a smile all the time,she really conects with the audience a lot and that counts more than just a great voice sometimes.GO ANETTE!!

Tienes razon, de hecho se ven momentos en que la chica en ciertas canciones, compite (por decirlo de alguna manera) con el publico y con Marco para que se la oiga y hasta en ocasiones se oyen como grititos y por lo general la tapa la musica de los instrumentos. No tiene voz para cantar esas canciones en directo aunque lo intenta y a veces le sale bien....aunque eso sí, actua bastante bien en el escenario pero se echa mucho de menos a Tarja...
