Meh, a few parts of this were mildly funny but Ren and Stimpy was so good because it wasn't meant to be an adults show but it got away with so much messed up stuff. This actual adult version feels like it doesn't need to try because it doesn't actually need to be clever to get around censors and it suffers as a result. The jokes could be seen a mile off and it didn't really do anything different. Not a patch on the orginal show.

@Bluedragon094 Actually, this was an old script from the 90's that never got produced!(The swearing and adult stuff was just added in) Technically, it WAS the old Ren and Stimpy, but it never got made until 2003/2004!

I find that extraordinarily hard to believe. I mean for one, the sheer length of the episode compared to the 90's counterparts! For another, the fact that they didn't even try to hide any of the adult influences. I mean if you want to go and tell me it's BASED on a previous script and later adapted, okay, maybe, sure. But I don't for a second believe they produced this episode, like it is, with the expectation of Nickelodeon airing it.

@Bluedragon094 yeah, these were made originally with the intention of SPIKE TV (the men's network) airing it. They asked John K to "make it more like South Park" as he put it. SPIKE only aired a couple episodes before it was cancelled, leaving the rest to see a DVD only release.
