Stop acting cocky. Lip plates were worn because they wanted to make the women of the tribes UGLY. It was so the slave traders wouldn't take their beautiful women, so they modified them from birth to make them ugly. Yeah, it might be a tradition now with those cultures, but the lip plate was created for WOMEN so they wouldn't be taken away by slave traders.
