Has anyone noticed that since Madeira strongest point is jumps she does them a lot. Chloe is turns. When Chloe has her balance in check she can do an obscene amount of turns. Just look at dream on a star

Yes she is a good dancer but she has no control when she turns, she slmost never points her when she is on the ground, and her face played the part but her body didn't. She was supposed to be scared but to me it looked like practice. She also needs to finish her movements, she cuts them off. I think going back to basic ballet would help her A TON.

For everyone that is wondering, maddie was FINALLY left in her own age category. Chloe got 1st and maddie got 2nd, but they were in different categories. Chloe didnt beat maddie.

Also, am i the only one that is bothered by the fact that maddie was still on the top of the pyramid even though Chloe won and she didnt????? like if u agree!

I'm not in the dance world whatsoever, I do however, do competitive cheerleading. And if this dance is anything like some big cheerleading competitions, she could have missed first by .09... Something as little as not connecting the thing at 0:49 could have cost her first. It was a beautiful dance, but little things do factor in. Overall, I think this was absolutely beautiful, great job hon<3

i think the reason Maddie is the "strongest dancer in the group" is not because she has better technique than Chloe, its because Maddie puts emotion and energy into her dancing, while Chloe focuses on technique, and she doesnt show as much energy while she dances.

@elizabethcocoa88 Er, probably not. Dance competition judges don't care about your own personal "story." I had to complete a week after my Godfather died and it's not like my dance teachers went to rush to tell the judges that so that they'd give me more credit.

Performance-wise, this is one of Maddie's finest moments, but technique wise she was less fluid and clean than she usually is, so I see why it got second.

i was wondering what place she got cause i really don't remember them saying on that episode.i'm surprised it was 2nd-it was just as good as her other dances.i liked it better than the one she won with at nationals,but i'm not a dancer so i don't know what is considered harder or better by the judges.but it looks like this video was actually taken at the competition instead of someone's TV,cause i don't remember seeing the full version on that episode.

I'm sure the reason why Maddie didn't win first had less to do with her and more to do with the choreography, because I doubt there were any other kids her age at the competition with the same emotion, ability, and skill as her. Although I love the dance I could see where the judges might have wanted more fluidness in the transitions, also more jumps and turns as I'm sure the judges probably picked up on the fact that she was capable of more then given. Maybe they felt this was safe for Maddie.
