I think yes. Starcraft and DUNE are completely different sagas. Both of them I love a lot but let`s just not mix great things together and enjoy them as they are. ;)
@antdude All the Dune games (to me) have tons of flaws and never quite capture the atmosphere and epic-ness of the books. Still, they are all very enjoyable games with great soundtracks :)
@antdude True, but there are variations in horribleness of adaptations. For example, I think the lord of the rings movie adaptation was... decent.... while for example the miniseries based on Terry Goodkinds Sword of Truth series was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RAPE o.O People should get shot for that one!

New soundtracks have NOTHING on the old ones ;) Prime example: the might and magic 6 & 7 and Heroes of might and magic 3 soundtracks.
@MrDanials im sure thats not true,you will love other ones equal or different,because they contain other invisible stories;did you ever listen to emperor of dune soundtrack?(not in youtube,-hear them in the missions;i prefer the harkonnen)
the melody is akin to mozart,i think it is the requiem,but this one is perfect,mozart not(not because the composer of mozart couldnt do,it is because they changed it,like most of mozarts)(plus..mozart has never composed that all,he is a big lie,a lot of mozarts composements were even produced after the 2nd world war or even in the 90ies.dont ask why,thats dangerous.
It's game music. I have played the game, I like the atmosphere - that's what it is about. The action and the music. Because of game action the music becomes wonderful.

It's game music. I have played the game, I like the atmosphere - that's what it is about. The action and the music. Because of game action the music becomes wonderful.

That tune sounds familiar somehow. It sounds a bit like "The Overseer" from Emperor: Battle for Dune.
