@L1amLee Paul was the Kwisatz Haderach and his bloodline (starting from the twins) went on to change the universe - Alia was an abomination, which is further explained in Children of Dune, God Emperor etc
@L1amLee Read the books my friend...Paul was the first True Kwisatz Haderach...Alia was an abomination. There were other KH later on in the series, but Alia never was one.
@TalonBlades It's true, If Jessica had first given birth to a daughter, this daughter and Feyd (her cousin, by the way) would have conceived the KH. But Paul himself said "I came before my time".
@harqelada The genetics still would not have been correct if Feyd and Alia ( or another daughter) had married and bred. What Paul was speaking about was the fact that the BGs had miscaluclated, so he was born before he was 'supposed' to have been.
@TalonBlades It's true, the BG miscalculated everything. Even the Missionaria Protectiva (I don't know if it makes sense in English but that's how it's called in French) that spread the prophecy on Arrakis thousands of years ago, about a BG and her son, only to protect a Sister that would be lost on the planet. I remember it is said in the books that the Sisters were only following a plan and they didn't even know it, it was beyond their knowledge.
I think the dark ambiance of the main character's plot being cleverly perverted by the Rhinestone Cowboy theme into a soft-hearted, legend of zelda quest was very clever...maybe you could do somthing with the new Conan the Barbarian's main character?
While I enjoyed the atmosphere and idea of the movie Dune, this brilliant parody amplifies the sophomoric undertone that haunts the seriousness of the movie's theme. I don't know what it is about this movie that ruins its potential for me, but the parody almost mocks it, whether that's intended or not. Good work, sir!
To the bathroom, for this is the anal mucus that precedes the poop coming out of my butt!

Paul was not the Kwisatz Haderach though - his sister Alia was, sacrilege!

@jakey28 In fact, Leto II, one of the twins, did what his father refused to do. They both had the same vision of what had to be done.

Kwisatz Haderach are words from the hebrew language.
they mean: a breakthrough
eranyyyy 4 months ago
@eranyyyy it's close to the Hebrew "Kefitzat Haderech" (travel between two distant places in a very short period of time)

@TheAltair4
If Weird Al made a song based on Dune, this could be it. Do you think Kwistaz Haderech is a funny word? i mean it sounds like Cusinartz Cadillac.

@Johnlindsey289 lol. Cuisinartz Cadillac. I'll have to remember that one. Yeah, Dune is loaded with a bunch of strange, funny words like that.

@Nathan890ify
Well .. it has to have the same rhythm as "Rhinestone Cowboy", since it is a cover of that.
