  • the extreme tempo makes it almost impossible to pick out the melody and harmonies

  • can anyone please tell me what form is this prelude?

  • Sorry but from Gould to Richter these tempi are all absurd...much TOO FAST...all these interpretations are musical nonsenses...no tempo giusto at all... Poor Bach.

  • Oh, it's so fast! but that sounds great, like a perfect dialog!!

  • Fugue was great, but the prelude was too fast. Then again, I also wish that I had the chops to play the prelude that fast!

  • Isn't too fast, but he isn't executing the trills right. They don't sound as they should, personally I think they sound better with a raised leading note - it's D minor, which technically has a c#.

  • ooo...is that a fazioli?

  • @zigzaggity Oh Yeah! =)

  • prelude fast, but played with great clarity

  • both played very nice, I prefer this prelude fast
