  • The only thing I don't like about this is that they had to cut it and make the song/scene shorter for the episode. I wish they had been able to do the entire song because they are fantastic!

  • Best glee duet: Hummelberry

  • Why is Kurt so perfect.

    Love Lea Michelle.

  • kurt or i should say Chris, i am glad i met you

  • @DisneyDreamer1991 Same here. I'm thankful to the glee producers for casting him, because I got to know him.

  • I love glee and I want To be on broadway one day

  • @mikimagic6 same for meh

  • it would be better with derren chris

  • he's crying AWHHHH!!!! i would be too if i was singing a great and beautiful song in front of a stage

  • I just wish that they sang the whole thing!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • Kurtchel!

    These two are amazing.

  • @MissFinchelForever It's actually called Hummelberry, but i do love these two also!

  • I just cried

  • The first time I watch this episode, and watched this scene, I was bawling, not just crying, but full on bawling!! I love Wicked to death, I love Glee so much, and the mix, It was/is so amazing!!

  • 2.24 Bliss <3

  • I love Kurtchel duets..! defying gravity and now this! they should make a glinda male version and let kurt and rachel do it ahahha

  • I just watched Wicked today. This scene was phenomenal and absolutely magical.

  • So powerful, i have shivers.

  • This song explains their friendship so well

  • I didn't like Wicked, but I loved their version of this song.

  • i had to sing this song in elementary i love it now

  • THis is probably my fave glee song. Have to say I find it amusing that Kurt has Glinda's part, and this is third song that Lea Michelle has done having Idina Menzel's vocal part

  • @MissPiratePez So true! Defying Gravity, For Good, Take me or Leave Me. Were those the three you were thinking of? :)

  • But then, I guess we know there's Blaine to share :)

  • i love the guy voice but when his smile he has like no teeth...

  • kurt i love you

  • Their voices blend so good together

  • rachel and her eyebrows <3

  • I love Kurts hair :) ♥

  • I didn't know this song was from Broadway and glee did a cover till now. I'm so slow LOL

  • I like how she sings her mothers in teh shows part!

  • I have a person in mind with this song: Chris Colfer

  • Rachel should be the new Elphaba :)

  • that keychange is so beautiful it made me cry

  • that dress is pretty unflattering

  • This video makes me cry. Wanna know why? Because I MISS KURTCEDES! They are my 2 favorite characters and Amber and Chris are my 2 favorite actors. They dont even talk anymore! I seriosly cry when the words Rachel and Kurt are in the same sentence!

  • I cried when i watched this episode. I teared up watching it just now. Like if you have a person in mind when you hear this song <3

  • I love the FULL version of this song that they did, they cut this one horribly to shorten it. It's so obvious and awkward.

  • love kurts voice<33

  • Lea was made for Broadway! :)

  • Lea Michelle is born to play Elphaba

  • Absolutely love Wicked and loved this version also!! God I wish glee would do more Wicked songs!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Ok, I actually want to go and see Wicked with Lea and Chris playing Elphaba and Glinda :) I don't care that Glinda is normally a female character. Chris would be AMAZING :)

  • @NickyLess I would cry so much at the end of it if they were in the cast

  • @Mariokartisthebest I was bawling anyway when I went to see it. I would be a wreck if they were performing it :)

  • @NickyLess Hell yeah!

  • Me and my whole grade had to sing this for my elementary school gradation ceremony

  • I saw Lea and Chris in this song instead of Rachel and Kurt.

  • Which episode is this?

  • @Musiclover0Yasmin Season 2, Episode 22: New York

This is pure amazing. Two best glee singers.

  • @Musiclover0Yasmin Last episode of season 2 when they go to New York for Nationals. Her and Kurt sneak into Gershwin

  • Aww there like best friends :) Glee's not complete without them :)

  • My Goodness... I tried to resist to this girl but it's just impossible, she's just so powerful and emotional... Standing ovation for you. :)

  • We're sing this in my choir class and I really want a solo so practice practice practice

  • I stopped watching Glee after season 1 but had to watch this episode!! I LOVE WICKED!! :)

  • I love how they sing but i really HATE rachel's scary face when she sings

  • @222Dabbiedab222

I dun quite understand what you mean (scary face?) but I LOLed at your comment!

  • I don't care if he's gay ! He's sounds so good and I am so inspired by that,I want to sing. But I can't anymore. Ughhh I hate puberty!!! My voice is so deep. 😡😢

  • you can tell this guy is queer from the very beginning lol but boy can he sing!

  • @elpato39 AND YOUR POINT IS???

  • @Ianandsyd my point is i think it is interesting how you can just tell by someones face whether or not he's gay, and either way he is very talented, even though his voice seemed a bit nazely, what do you think?

  • i heard their doing a movie adaptation of wicked. i hope lea michele plays elphaba.

  • I hate the fact that they left out so many words....but their singing without a doubt over-rules that. These two have amazing voices :D

  • @missemilytinkerbell when u buy it from itunes it is the full version XD

  • They are cryyyyying! :'(

  • Lea Michelle..... I would Kill to have your range.....

  • @ezzibbes I'd do too

  • saw this today, and i have to say that i prefer this version slightly.

  • better than the original

  • This is how they should have done Defying Gravity...and included the climax where kurt and rachel both got to ride in the lift :D that would have been cool!

  • i don't remember anything from this episode except for blaine telling kurt he loved him.

  • <3 Guylinda~ XD

  • Cry everytime I listen to it...

  • so beautiful song~~^0^

  • Amazing <3 Love their voices together <3

  • I think this actually benefits from being edited down to 3 mins instead of 5

  • why is is backwards?

  • @sllarson84 so the copyright screens don't catch it

  • 2 of my favorite things joined together. Perfect.

  • I heard that since they were double filming at this point (working both 2nd and 3rd season) that Idina went with them to film this and started crying as she was walking around the set.

  • I love how Chris is crying from the second he starts singing

  • Love it!!!! Thanks glee!!! Love u guys alot..!basically now my life is filled with songs from glee. Sometime I think u guys sing better than the original Lolz

  • chris

  • People should just learn to appreciate music instead of arguing which should be the best version, blah blah...

Yes, I agree that Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth were the original and probably the best in my opinion, but since Lea Michele plays Shelby's daughter, she must've gotten coaching from Idina Menzel herself on this song, right? (For non-Gleek fans, Idina Menzel played Rachel's mother. Yes, you can stop jumping in happiness now).

So, this IS an impressive rendition. :)

  • Awesome, but nothing can beat the original, gotta love Kristin! ;)

  • His hair is more playful, his face is sharper, he talkes more and most importantly, he has WHISKERS yeah.

  • This song makes me cry

  • I love Kurts hair here. He changed much since the first episodes?

  • @xHanna14 it's surprising to see, but he's even more beautiful than he was in the beginnnig.

  • 2:24 HAHAHA

  • I was jumping in my seat when they first began...such a beautiful performance!!!

Just don't like how they cut parts out cuz its so noticeable haha

  • @aeris44 i meant when i first saw the episode

  • I love Colchele.. they are the reason I watch Glee!

Chris and Lea are amazing!!! I hope Chris will be soon on Broadway too!

  • Why is youtube only showing my views?

  • I cried when I saw this for the first time:D This is my biggest dream. Its a pity that I have so shitty voice:D

  • this is part of why I hate glee, having a guy play Glinda, they had a girl play Frankenfurter and they ruin all songs they touch

  • @wraithkelso Then don't listen to the music. What's wrong with Kurt as Glinda?? It's different

  • @eloiseamanda how about the fact that he's a guy and Glinda is a woman, if he doesn't have boobs and a vagina then he shoudn't be singing the part of Glinda. PLUS, the only only 2 I like playing the leading ladies are Kristen Chenoweth as Glinda and Idina Menzel as Elphaba

  • @wraithkelso It's not like he is actually playing Glinda. If you watched Glee, you'd realise Kurt prefers to sing female songs, like Defying Gravity

  • @wraithkelso It's Kristin, not Kristen : D and I LOVE them too (Chenzel is my favourite Wicked pairing), but there are others that work really good together, like Rachel and Louise (Tuckman <3) or Megan and Eden.. I mean, Chenzel are great but they're not the only ones who can sing this really really well!

  • 2:11 to 2:15 I thought they said "There's Blaine to share" Whoops :O

  • @eloiseamanda you. are. GENIUS!

  • @deAfrekening22 Thanks, but it was a genuine thought. I had to listen 2 more times, to check

  • @eloiseamanda i thought so too...

  • That Finn Baby Is Kickin 2:29 .

  • The best scene in glee, ever.

  • Kurt would make an awesome Glinda...

  • They are so good! If Kurt wasn't gay in the show, him and rachel would actually make a cute couple <3

  • This is a great rendition of a truely beautiful song however I would have been a lot more "gleeked" to see/hear Lea perform this alongside Idina Menzel. Could you just imagine how absolutely freaking amazing that would be?? They would bring the Gershwin Theatre DOWN man!!

    (Sigs) If only...

  • I just love how they went for being enemies to this :)

  • I love this song

  • I find it funny that they are in the gershwin theatre when nobody is there.... (except the janitor) and yet, they STILL have a follow spot.... :) theatre ghost pitching in for a spectacular show? i think so!!!

  • @stagelover12390 Well, it's just like Kurt said.. "Make one.. in your mind". They don't really have an orchestra, or a spotlight, but because they want it so much they can imagine it, and it feels real to them... Probably my favourite Glee duet, always makes me well up.

  • They are deamn good. And they had the real decor of the musical wicked! Freaking awesome!!!!! Hope they are making more episodes and more songs.

  • kurt is magical

  • They are AMAZING! I love this song <3

  • They do a brilliant job of this. :)

  • Glee should have April Rhodes and Rachel's mother meet and sing together....a song from Wicked.

  • I adore this song from them a lot, but at the same point it makes me kinda sad. I wanted Will to get sick and have Kristen and Idina sing it at his bedside to him.

  • I LOVE KURT AND RACHEL! rachel is my favorite genetically girl character, and kurt is my favorite girl-esque Character. This being said, Kurt's hair looks absolutely bizarre in this video!!! Like something out of a Dr.Suess movie. I still love him though! <3

  • Gaaaaaaah!! Those lucky JERKS!! What I wouldn't GIVE to be on that stage, on that set, even just once!! Aaaaaaaugh! I envy them so much!

  • I LOVE (!) them together!!!! JUST PERFECT BEST FRIENDS! they just fit! :)) <3

  • I just watched Wicked and this song made me cry. :'(

  • I would've preferred Rachel's mother singing this with the character of April Rhodes.

    Think about it.

  • Chris Colfer sings Glinda's part really well. I love this so much <3

  • i saw the stage live and it was incredible!

  • I love this song <3

  • 2:18-2:23 is like an orgasm for the ears

  • @tazmaia93 At 2:36 - 2:38 as well

  • @tazmaia93 Actually the whole song is! <3

  • Comment removed

  • to think Rachel's mother was the original Broadway Elphaba

  • @missredharmony3 yeah. Her name is Idina Menzel who was the original Elphaba on the New York Broadway Wicked Cast :D

  • @missredharmony3 She was LOL

  • this the best For Good ever!!!

  • This is beautiful :')

  • It's Galinda with a Ga. :)

  • @jonasobsesed, It's both Galinda and Glinda.

  • it's ok, but the wicked original is better. they skip heaps of the song in this one

  • @wildstar1waveclan Yeah but in the iTunes version it's the full song. They did it for time reasons. It's a five minute song otherwise.

  • rachel if you read this where did you get the cute dress

  • If you're a Glee fan, this is beautiful for all of us, I can say that Glee changed my life. And this, after everything that happened between them, it's beautiful, it's a life lesson. People come to our life's and they change us, I love Glee too much because they made me a better person. I just love Glee so much.

  • what is that episode

  • @painefan22: Season 2-Episode 22- "New York"

  • Did anyone else want a broadway scout to be in the audience and offer them a role?

  • Oh Kurt is perfect for Glinda. :P

  • Hey Austria, Greetings from UK - not short for Ukraine ;D

  • im a fan of lea michelle. I personally dont agree with the top comments; i hate these 2 as characters on the show....but i do like their voices.

  • their voices should get married and have babies!

  • i just start sobbing everytime I hear his voice. It's so beautiful. brings tears every. single. time! I absouletely love hummelberry duets. there should be one every episode.

  • they would make a cute couple...

  • love u Kurt 4life even tho your gay!!!:)))))))) Rachel stay off my man!!!!!

  • I have the chills. Oh my god!

  • This has got to be the best song the two of them have done together... I can really see the growth

  • a,mazing song and sung so amazingly by two amazing people

  • all i can sayyy is wowwww

  • I'm bawling my eyes out right now.

  • @XxMadAboutPotterxX this is the only reason to watch this episode.

  • I love this but shame they cut it down so much! X

  • I'm convinced that they made them friends just cuz they sound so freaking amazing together

    especially for wicked

  • omg so amazing!! in the middle part, Rachel is singing her heart out but Kurt, still singing with so much power and deepness, looks like he is whispering and that there is no push coming out of his voice. incredible.

  • Chills!

  • 2:20 made me smile <3 i love these two singing together =)

  • I love the original version of the song, but this did impress me and will always hold a place in my heart

  • wow. just wow. gossebumps from start to finish <3

  • I always love how Rachel sings her "mother" (Idina Menzel)'s part XD
