Youve got skills. I love that game! My only complaint is that they could have done a much better job of creating the final boss, both the way he looks and his fighting pattern. Everything else in the game was so great it was a letdown once I finally got to him.
Wow !!! when I was a little kid I played this game <3 . What a good memory...but I was always stuck on the 4 stage ^^; your really good to beat the last bost in hard mode! I never thought that someone know that game !

Just a hint: If you do a rolling zap attack while standing right in front of him (so the lightning does go all over the screen) it will do MAJOR damage. You can take away about 1/3 of his health and it's not difficult to pull off. It's way faster.
Yeah, I get you. If you place your bolt just right, and use the flame beast while charging, he will never cast the homing dragon attack. All the devastating rolling bolts will stay within that bosses frame until you need to jump. Usually needs two to three full charges in the chest per stun. 3rd stun, and he's out. Heck, this works on the level 7 boss too.
This is just a video to show how to beat the boss, but I've actually been thinking of making an entire playthrough video of the game. When I make it I'll include the ending.

I think I have finished this game at least 40-50 times. I remember just playing this game a whole summer 1994. Last boss is the easiest one!

I only ever beat this game once. Great looking, good music. What a fugly thing though... All bits hanging out. I'm guessing it's incomplete. Eugh.

Typo: I meant the lightning shouldn't go across the screen, but only hit the boss.

One of my favourite games, brilliant challenge and a beautiful music score. The gameplay seems to move a lot faster than my Mega Drive version.
