I really like the entire crap-load of instruments you used here. They all fit the song, and they all blend well. I also really like how some instruments in that entire entourage go to different notes at different parts.

Plus that Car + Swan combo in the beginning is amazing.

Super instrument combinations here ; they all work well, sounds really good and are accurate to the original. The echoeing gameboys and volume balance is correct, the articulation is perfect (or seem perfect) and the notes are spot-on. I love polished compositions like this.

Without dickspeed however, this song wouldn't have sounded as good. Having just flowers in certain spots would have sounded empty and monotonous comparatively. With the added speed, I was able to achieve things that are plainly not possible at lower tempos. Things (this goes across all of my comps) like echoes, layering, C#/Bb managing, articulation, fullness, complexity. If that makes these works bad, then what makes them good?

Careful with how you twist my words - I didn't say it made this song bad (quiet the contrary, I said you did a good job). Suppose ultimately it's just harder to enjoy the song when you can't really watch the notes on the screen. It just takes something away from the whole thing.

Not to mention, I don't like this soundfont very much, which is why the video you replied to was the only one I made with it.

That's not a valid reason in the slightest. I and everyone make a song to heard, not a painting to be looked at. The video could be granulated beyond compare and I still would have posted it.

It all comes down to how well a song sounds. The video, though a very nice novelty, has no impact on how good the song sounds.

Rich and wonderful music both of them. I can think of a few songs from Chrono Trigger that I would just love to do. It has such powerful and emotional songs. Golden Sun is enormously complex and would sound brilliantly stunning. I would love to do a song from both of them. Specific suggestion perhaps?
